Is My German Shepherd Dog Pregnant? by FunshoASL: 7:23pm On Jan 13
Hello everyone,
I crossed my GSD four weeks ago. She is still very active. She keeps jumping on me whenever I returned from work. No physical sign of pregnancy. She still barks aggressively at strangers and her appetite for food is low.
Is she really pregnant?
This is my first experience with a female GSD. She has given birth before but not with me.
Your candid opinion is well appreciated.

Call the guy who crossed her. Normally after crossing they will know 2 days after max . Anyways my dogs are Italian mastiffs so anytime my dame crosses two days max I know of she has taken. Not sure bout GSDs though. Call the guy who crossed her for you he will advise.

We have a dog like this exactly, and she's pregnant. She was crossed in November last year, and after sometime we noticed that she's rejecting foods we give to her. She doesn't eat anymore, except you give her egg. We asked the veterinary doctor taking care of her, he said that it's sign of pregnancy, that the dog is pregnant.
So if your dog stops eating, just know that she's pregnant,, that's early sign of pregnancy in dogs. Always give her eggs, or mix whatever you're giving her with eggs, that's the food they enjoy during pregnancy.
