What happens to us in life is not what matters. What matters is how we react to it. Whether we react with love or anger is a clear indication of our state of consciousness.
We should do well to remember that Jesus never taught cursing those who harm us but he taught that if someone slaps you turn the other cheek. Return love for hatred. That love that passeth all understanding is the key to bringing peace on earth and not anger and curses.
Let us show that love in whatever condition we find ourselves and let us all join together in wishing muslims all over the world a happy sallah celebration.
