That last game between Ivory Coast and Nigeria was as though secondary school players from Nigeria were playing against Manchester City. From the beginning of the match to the end, Ivory Coast held possession and pressured Nigeria. Immediately they scored the first goal, I knew they would win. Congratulations to them! The Nigerian team was a team of stars and good ones at that. But it lacked cohesion, thanks to the useful midfield. To make it worse at the final, the team was so edgy. Too many fouls at the first few minutes of play. And after the goal, they went into full defence mode against a confident and very attacking Ivorian side. HE balled well and was hungry for the trophy. Ref didnt remove yellow cards despite opponents harsh play. Why wont he parah. Unfortunately... All of you don't know the problem with this team..why did the coach decide to play a 5 Man defence.. we don't have a Good creative midfielder like the likes of Jay Jay and co . You can't tell me a country of about 200millon people can't produce a creative no 10.. iwobi can't defend.. onyeka was doing over work.. going forward..we need a Better no 10.. we have the attack and the defence at least 27 Likes 1 Share |
