Useless bill that's dead on arrival. The present states can not even sustain themselves, you want to add more. Most of the stages in Nigeria now are glorified local govt areas.

Although, on its face value, this bill to create additional 3 States in the SW appears vexatious, daring and divisive, it's an opportunity for other regions to demand more States for themselves as well.

The SW must concur to the wishes of other regions when a deluge of demands start emanating from other regions.

Okun State so that Okun region can develop separating them from Igala and Okene,
Another State diving Niger State into 2
And another State dividing Maiduguri into 2 so that sambisa forest state can be dashed to herders since they admonish to live in the forest..

Ikorodu and Epe should be part of Ijebu state. All Ijebu speaking local governments should be included.

Its very obvious these bunch of guys don't really know what the problem of Nigeria is at the moment..

Priority should be given to ensuring that Nigerians get food to eat and tackle the dwindling economy, hardship and insecurity.

Anything else is secondary..

Definitely, creating of states at this time is for nothing else but selfish reasons..
We will resist that for now until things normalise in the country.

The gentleman was referencing FCT reps as a whole rectifying the state issue. You took it to mean local rep from sw bringing up the issue for se.
