Balance from the last expenditure 3,200(2 or so pages back) Jarus transferred 60,000 3200 given to Olowotee for the purchase of big bowls,measuring cups(for rice,beans,garri),bottles(for oils) and kerosene. 32,000 for 2nd and 3rd terms KG1,1st,2nd and 3rd terms KG2 for the son,James.(Fees covers lesson fees,text/work books,2 school uniforms,1 PE (sports) wear,dev. fees,PTA etc) 4500 for hospital registration(Family card),blood tonics and some multi vitamins were given to both husband and wife. God bless you all!! Far more touching than the donations for me is the fact that there are honest people out there willing to help without any personal gain or benefit. The organisers of this project I have no words to describe you efforts and the effect it has on me seeing such devotion of time and energy to help. I must confess that I was rather skeptic at the point of donating but felt it worth a try. But your transparency, total devotion and compassion has humbled me and restored my faith in the goodness of mankind. Respect!!! and thank you. |

Having spent NGN374,000 on the Obuhs and providing them with what we feel will be sufficient for them to take off in a new, productive life, we have decided to take a financial break with them and see how they fare. I have been unbanned but the bot yet to release my post. We got the Obuh's more wares for their shop today and a little radio to keep him company,he says he loves listening to radio. Monday Obuh can read and write very well and even speaks passable French.They are settled now,we got them more foodstuffs(for house) yesterday,paid the little boys 2 years(KG1 and KG 2) full school fees,took them to hospital where the wife was registered and they all got multivitamins and iron drugs and also got the boy school kit(shoes,sandal,socks,bag etc) and also gave cash to Mr Obuh(5,000) and Mrs Obuh(3000) Many thanks to everyone that contributed in cash and kind,the Obuhs are very grateful.May God replenish our pockets and give the Obuhs grace and wisdom to manage their shop and lives.We'd keep checking on them from time to time. |
