The federal executive council, presided over by the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu,approved with immediate effect the disbursement of social security payment funds to Nigerian vulnerable households having the National Identification Number (NIN) with Bank Verification Number (BVN).Also included are graduates with National Certificate of Education (NCE.) and those with higher degrees without gainful employment. The chief of staff to the president is to head the monitoring committee which shall include the federal minister of budget, Attorney-general of the federation as well as the coordinating minister for the national economy and finance. towards making the scheme a reality. 1 Like |
