It's a puzzle to many, but we that knows him and his antecedents are not surprised one bit. We all know how politics had been played in Nigeria, its a system where the worst use power and intimidation, harassment and outright lies and propaganda to win political power, then use same power to oppress their victims, the masses till they hand over to the next bunch of hand picked charlatans.

Well, Peter Obi didn't quite develop like that. He came from an entirely different background, a background of excellence. He had an excellent family upbringing, he had no scandals to hide as a child, had nothing that will make anyone give him a bad publicity as a teenager nd a young man, had an excellent schooling record and also set up his business without any links to crime.

Peter Obi went on to establish multiple businesses without doing any evil, made his billions in his early 30s and came back home to help his people as his state desperately needed a messiah to save it from the hands of crooks stealing his state resources.

He won! He was exceptional as governor, carrying out numerous developments in and around his state, helping people, and standing firm in governance to benefit majority of the poor in his state. He just created multiple enabling environment for wealth to grow, also made major interventions in education, infrastructure and agriculture.

Peter Obi is still willing to help Nigeria, if Nigeria can still be helped. The abysmal performance of the people who took power in 2023 was well predicted, and everyone almost agreed that the power hungry people had no chance of saving the country, since they didn't have the antecedents to making things better.

Peter Obi will always be a great man, he will always keep doing good, building multiple boreholes, building schools and hospitals, donating money to the poor and needy, and building the infrastructure where government has failed the people.

Peter Obi is currently more known and visible than the people ruling the country. He is the face of a united, safe and prosperous Nigeria where everyone will have a voice about how government should function.

At least he had an excellent childhood, and a perfect young adulthood. Quite unlike some other national politicians we know.

It’s always hilarious seeing a Tinubu minion point the finger of accusation at Pierre Obi….calling him ’fraudulent and shameless’! grin

They said that his background (education, parents, siblings, source of wealth acquired before he became governor) and antecedents as governor are all verifiable! Then some begin accusing him of acting as if he’s a saint…..all because their own godfather is one big question mark and lacks integrity!

Obi has never said he is good not to talk of ascribing sainthood to himself. People like you call him saint because you can't understand how a nigerian can be this clean. majority of this age mates are like that scattered all over the nation. Moral value was something valuable in his time.

Another ofeke thread.

Peter Obi that cannot point to how he got money to start his importation business.

Peter Obi that was a henchman under Abacha.

Peter Obi that governed Anambra state for 8 years without any tangible development. He didn't even build any new school or any tangible infrastructure in 8 years.

Peter Obi that was caught with millions of cash in transit.

Peter Obi that is hiding money in illicit accounts abroad.

Peter Obi that shored up his bank financials with state funds.

Peter Obi that used state funds for insider stock trading.

Peter Obi the religious bigot.

Peter Obi is far from any bloody sainthood you are putting up there. He is just like every other criminal politician in Nigeria. He has been in government for over 20 years with nothing to show for it.

Peter Obi gbakwa oku!
