Can one opens Opay account online?

Download the app on your phone and create your profile. Your phone number is your identity.

Too much heat from the CBN.

It is almost not possible to track which payment is a crypto payment unless it is stated.

Opay is just telling its users to use their sense.

The users have been using their heads, only a newbie will put crypto as description on the transaction

They are not having issues, it's just that government is restricting fintechs from transacting in crypto. All of them are fine they don't want them to help Nigerians doing crypto business.

Under which law? Nigerians don't know their rights.

You are the one who is an illiterate and ignorant about the law.

The CBN enabling Act empowers the CBN to determine the legal tender. Since the CBN has said crypto is illegal, let them catch you trading it. You will suffer more than Nnamdi Kanu.

CBN can not ban crypto trading . It is impossible. We have entered a dispensation where you don't even need a bank account to hold money. BTC, USDT, ETH, USDC, etc... is bigger than the Nigerian govt.

Go and ask China. They tried to ban it but they couldn't.

Even Singaporean banks now trade crypto

All this Akungba one thing one thing poly graduates making stupid noise online can be so irritating. Bush man.

What is a "legal tender"? If you can satisfactorily explain that then the next question will be what is a property? What is an asset? What is a security? Do Nigerians have the right to own property? Do Nigerians have the right to own assets?

Should this be a monetary matter or a securities matter (at the most)? So what is the business of the CBN and what should be the role of the SEC?

Of course you're too dumb to understand where I'm going with this.

Broke ass government apologist making a mess of himself only out of sheer jealousy and perhaps ethnicity-based self delusion.

Have cbn officially banned trading crypto in nigeria? Even if they ban it nigerians will always find another way to sell and buy crypto I heard some nigerians now convert their crypto to ghanian cedis then convert back to naira.

Okay ,

For example am a politician , I want to launder 100 m for example , I can easily put 5 to 10 m in my opay account and buy crypto worth that amount in a day , then continue the following day till am able to move all into my crypto acc.

From my crypto acc I can easily transfer to my US or Uk account from Binance to my US cash app acc .

In less than 1 week I will move all .

This is just to mention few ok 👌 ✌️
