faceland: What doesn’t make sense? I believe he bloated those take home. US cannot take $5k home monthly for $90k salary but you do have retirement savings and healthcare insurance deducted already from it. Those monies are not tax as people will have others believe. It is your money you decide to spend for your health |

being: What if. That means he could be wrong. I would listen to more people in the UK and then weigh my options. Also, insecurity in the UK is almost Zero. As a freelancer who resides in the UK, I get better chances to get hired by businesses in Europe and the US. Anyhow you want to look at it, there are advantages. 1 Like 2 Shares |

And DISADVANTAGES !! There are both.. U must consider both exhaustively not hastily choose to hear what u want to hear... Insecurity is not zero.. teenagers do a lot of knife attacks with one another.. U can't discipline ur children the way u would like.. expenses are in pounds not naira... u get to deal with adverse weather which is a more painful problem than having to fan yourself in the afternoon when there is no light. akuneme: 1 Like |

Neoteny: You can't be right with this. £500 for groceries for a family of 3? People spend way less than that. There are places you can pay a little less than half of £1,200 for rent. It all depends on the lifestyle you want to choose. About your last paragraph, one have to confine their expenses within their income. 1 Like 1 Share |

obaidan:Why make people calculate in month. He could have just used month and not yearly salary in that table of his. There are tons of papers and reports out there how people misrepresent a story seemingly using data. Start with How to Lie with Statistics by Dr. Hashim AlZain. In Science and Academia, you don't do what he did. And FFS, he is a Dr |

babat001: No seriously is not that they don't want to go back home, it is the shame of going back and starting over again and people chiding you that what did you achieve not knowing that things get as e be for here. My cousin took the boldest step to relocate when he realised he was not moving forward in the UK, even when he got to Nigeria, I was the only one he told before he told his people after some months. Now he is a senior Engineer in a big Oil company in Nigeria. 4 Likes 2 Shares |
