Where is it written that it's the sole responsibility of the male to provide for the female? Feminists will fight you o 😁

I agree that two poor people coming together to be a couple should prepared ahead for marriage not wedding but 10m is too much to start with and is not about having such amount in reserved. You duo should have a blueprint and business plan that can generate a good revenue because the 10m you've in reserved if is not well prepared for that, na that woman go help you ruined everything

Women are so complicated, I was saving my little income in preparation for my wedding, after wedding the savings mode change because I was having opening mind with my woman, nobody teach me before I flew back to my former saving mode. Disclosing 25% out of the 100% I've at hand, at the end is going to be a win win for both of us but Dem no go allow you save if you no apply wisdom

I do want a secured future for the both of us but she no dey reason with me. Always complaining age is not on her side.

She don vex leave my side since morning telling family and friends that i have been wasting her time.

I’m wondering if I did anything wrong

You don't love her and don't want to marry her. What is the issue about money? What is N10million naira? You are selfish and it's true. If age is not on her side, it's understandable.

must d wife contribute to family warfare? Which mean d man isnt man enough, man must cater 4 all his family needs! I didnt knw ur religion? But paul said a man dat cant cater 4 his home/family! Unbliver is better dan him!
Yet women get all the jobs nowadays! This is one reason why we have many unmarried working class ladies especially in Igboland. They get empowered with jobs while many men are left jobless! Because of mindset like yours above, most of these working class ladies find it difficult to get married because they can't stoop to marry guys they're financially better than. So, y'all should continue in your unreasonable views. Eventually, our society will become littered with many unmarried and bitter women!

Maybe then y'all would realize that it was never in the society's interests to financially empower the female gender while leaving the males jobless

The truth is that I wonder the kind of men we have nowadays. I am a man not married either but the kind of conditions they gave ladies are very strange. A man is the head of the home and you must take responsibility to whatever is going on there. How would a woman respect you when you are telling her to share bills with you. That guy is not close to getting ready to marry.

U are talking rubbish.....u pple don't read bible urself in contex...u just quote what others say when they are trying to force a narrative..

....Paul never said "if a man cant cater for his family all "alone" ....he was addressing lazy pple that do not work, busy bodies that bring nothing home to their family...

There is no where in the bible men are told to bring all the money and food, and pay rent and women only are supposed to fvck and born......go and read ur bible well...women work, they even work in farms....except in rich setting like queen esther, and other wives of rich men with servants

There is no textbook for marriage.....if u meet a man that is rich...then u enjoy urself and dont bring anything...

If u meet a man that is average..then be ready to be a team layer..not that u will be putting pressure on a nother woman's son and be quoting bible becos u don't wanna do anything

🤣🤣🤣 like team "his money is our own and my money is my own".women and manipulations.they save their money and buy latest iphone to pepper there friends while the innocent man struggle with all the bills of the House and to even change new cloth na wahala.I hail our ladies and there manipulative ways

You are not ready to get married, so let her go to find better prospects. You already feel she is stuck with you or has no better choice hence your spewing crap to her.

A lot of men have allowed things they read from unserious men on social media, usually from American rap and street culture adherents, to distort their views in such a damaging way.

What kind of love is it when you have to sit your future partner down and say you must each contribute N5m into a deposit account before marriage can happen.

That's a transactional relationship. How long can a marriage built on such faulty foundation last.

Where there is love, such thinking simply don't happen.

Just let the lady be. Your action was cold, nasty, inconsiderate, and hurtful.

I just hope this is fiction
I think the point is why would a babe be disturbing a man about marriage when she doesn't have any plan whatsoever, you just want a man to do everything for you, it doesn't make sense to me. So u nor get anything to contribute but u dey disturb person for marriage, because na man make e kill im self becos e wan marry. Even if I'm a billionaire she would contribute something, so she would understand the essence of hard work. You cannot just stay idle and just be eating, make good use of yourself as a woman.

If anything happens to the man you married to, the next you start seeing the woman sleeping around just to cater for her family. I like hard working women with SENSE......I don't need a woman's money but she must make good use of herself.

Guy, zamfara crazy dey your head. Virginity is not everything though. In this case however, he must marry her, his conditions are useless because that guy looks like someone that cannot muster 1m in bulk 5 years from today. But if this is the style he wants to use to change woman, we will join this one that is approaching menopause to place a curse on him, and nobody should come begging us years from now.

The truth is that you are not ready to marry her, you are just using her as sex_toy.....using marriage to trap someone that sacrificed all to stay with you. Don't think you will get away with it....you_will pay dearly when you least expect it.

As a man do you expect the wife to contribute 50/50 and still respect, cook and clean for you? Think about it as a man you are meant to cater for majority of the family needs, women are not designed to provide security for the man, it is the man's job, while she nurtures, cooks and cleans. if you go to most homes where the woman is the main bread winner, there is always chaos, the man is always highly disrespected, even if you marry a virgin it is same thing, if you want your wife to bing 50/50 then you should be ready to cook and clean to and not always have the final say, that's just fact

Who respect help when it comes to financial matters.

You stupid men your EGO is your biggest problem and the other gender are using it to their best advantage by showing you fools fake respect, fake love and affection. Nonsense.

Nobody ever talks about what a man deserves.
Why would she say that the man wasted her time?
Was the man not also spending his own time with her?

There is nothing wrong in asking her to contribute 5m to a joint account. She wants to reap where she didn't sow financially.
