Let us outline all the problems affecting Nigeria/Nigerians. Even if you do not have any solution, just post them.

It is my hope that our leaders, some groups or individuals can see these list and provide solution to some of them. Please help us post any one you can can remember.

Our Police Force needs to be retrained and re-oriented on how to do their duty and win back the trust and respect of Nigerians.

Election Reform:
- Limit number of Political parties or increase the criteria for registering one (like having offices and representatives in the federal constituencies in the country)
- Anyone seeking re-election should resign his current position in a number of months to the election.
- If found guilty of rigging election - the person should face capital punishment.

grin grin grin Nigerians to know that their choices will affect them now or later. Anyone that can venture into sensitizing Nigerians on their rights and need to be patriotic and bold - will be welcomed.

Also we need to hold government accountable to work for us so we can be happy to stand up for Nigeria whenever the need arises. Monkey dey work, Baboon dey chop - no dey encourage patriotism at all

We need educational reform (curriculum, facilities, re-training of teachers, inter-school competitions, Educational Trust Fund to support research and publications).

Make it a crime to keep a child out of school.

Tribalism

People in authority must continue, preserve and improve good initiatives. We must not always start afresh each election circle.

@GWslim: I also support sincerely, releasing the hammer on those people that have run us to the ground. Stolen our collective resources because the are in the positions of look after them.

But we must ensure the same standard is held at all point in time. Not crush your opponent, plea-bargain your colleague and rescue your brother.

the only thing NAIJA needs is THE DEATH PENALTY for corrupt public officials,am sure if we have that other tins will follow, EFCC and wateva new body that could be set up to implement it should also have complete autonomy, that brings us to the issue of constitutional amendement, our laws are mockery to the poor,

^^^Gbam.

Na that one the make Nigerians write like me, once they too taste some oil money, they will start blabbing like Abati.

We need initiative that tend to uplift the general wellbeing of Nigerians. Not one that will make few (former poor people) very rich while the rest become poorer or sink deeper in the dust.

Decentralize power from Abuja. Let states and local governments have more authority and responsibility (including the power to produce, use and sell - without begging Abuja).
