I know many of our village folks are used to their elected officials ignoring them, they'd rather spend their time carrying ashawo all over the place and eat isi ewu all day, but this is what people vote for you to do, they want you to look out for them.

I would have even preferred micro-credit instead of grant. Grant is not pepayable, Microcredit is repayable. Some might see it as a national cake and spend the money poorly. Anyways, it is a good initiative
