Igbos are scattered all over the world, that's a very big plus to our survival as a tribe.
It's no longer rocket science that we are blessed, industrious and determined.
My greatest fear is, about the future.
I fear more about the future than the present. There's an adage our people use to say, "He who the world has rejected, shouldn't rejected himself."
I believe in this forum, there are bright minds who loves and put Alaigbo first before themselves, like I do.
Mind you, I'm not talking about the Biafra agitation, I'm more interested in the development and progress of Igbo as a people, be it in Nigeria or in Biafra.
Firstly my question goes like this,
"How can we unify and start up an economic explosive era, that will be mainly focused on the development of Alaigbo in Alaigbo.
The areas we need to focus on mainly are:
1.Human Resource
2.Orientation and Reorientation
3.Industrialisation
4.Importation of Technology and establishment of Technological Hubs
5.Modernised Infrastructure
6.Agriculture and it's mechanisation
7.Responsive Healthcare system
8.Security
9.Cultural rebirth
10.Power
I know all of what I listed, cannot be achieved without the support of the Federal government.
But I know alot can be achieved with a proper planning and the assistance of the State government. I love Alaigbo so much, the only way we can standout as we truly want is the inclusiveness of all, both home and diaspora mainly.
Feel free to discuss and input your thoughts as it's for the benefits of our homeland.
The ideas here can be helpful to the next generation.
