Oredo Government Council Mourns the Passing of Mrs Alice Janet Obaseki


The Oredo Government Council is mourning the loss of Mrs Alice Janet Obaseki, mother of the Executive Chairman of the Oredo Government Council, Dr. Tom Osaze Obaseki. Mrs. Janet Obaseki passed away on Sunday 9th of June, 2024.

In a statement issued by the Secretary to the Oredo Government Council, Dr. Wellington Osadolor, the council expresses its deep sorrow. "It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of Mrs. Alice Janet Obaseki who was the mother of our esteemed Executive Chairman, Dr. Tom Osaze Obaseki. This sad event took place on Sunday 9th of June, 2024."

Dr. Osadolor further stated, "Kind-hearted and committed to noble ideals, Mrs Alice Janet Obaseki was a virtuous, Christian, and diligent woman. These traits she passed to her children and all those who learned under her tutelage. She was a great woman and community leader who led a fulfilled life."

The Oredo Government Council extends its deepest condolences to Dr. Tom Osaze Obaseki and his family during this difficult time. Mrs. Obaseki's legacies and contributions to the community will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
