Good afternoon,
An uncle oof mine has an acre of land laying fallow,
please I would like to know how much it will take to start a cassava farm on the land.
how many heaps can be made on the land.
best type to plant in southwest, expected yield in tonnage.

With about 250k, you should be able to start your cassava farm. It all mostly depends on your person - can you do the rugged works?

On 1 acre,you should have between 800- 1000 heaps. And a good harvest, should give you nothing less than 6 tons.

There are lots of methodological differences in how individuals farm cassava. So, don't expect too much validations.

At the bolded, that's not correct except you are constructing many super-highway inbetween your heaps.
