When NDIC announced the liquidation of heritage bank, the promise it made to Nigerians was that within one week, payment would have been made to all depositors between ₦1 to ₦ 5m, directly into their alternative account, using their BVN to identify the alternative account. but one month after the announcement, many depositors, if not all are yet to get a dime out of their money with heritage bank.
Nigerians should help us talk to NDIC to do the right thing so as to restore the confidence of the general public on the banking sector.
The worst thing is that NDIC has remained silent since on 21 June, that was the last time they post something on the issue on their Facebook account. Myself, like many others out their have been having sleepless nights, this is 2am and I can't sleep. Please people should help us tage NDIC on various platforms just to ask them to do the needful before people start dying out of hunger and frustration.

Heritage Bank don fold, your money is gone hahaha

NDIC should be proactive in regards to this matter. In some rural areas, this was the only bank available and people's life savings are literally there. Updates should be given as to progress and processes so people can know their fate.

I don't bank with them. Just responding to the post. Especially for the fact I use fintechs (Opay and co) for my daily transactions and they (NDIC) also back them. If I can't trust their proactiveness with Heritage Bank, then there will be problem should the fintechs pack up.
