Is Corruption In Nigeria A Problem Of Politicians Or The Justice System? by lomaxx: 5:28pm On Jul 10, 2024 |
I think the active participation of corrupt politicians in government is an indictment of the criminal justice system, and not necessarily the politicians (based on the legal principle of presumption of innocence). If the politicians have corrupted the justice system, it still doesn’t change the liability of the stakeholders within the justice system. So the question remains: is corruption in Nigeria a problem that politicians created and sustained or is it a problem of the justice system ? |

lomaxx: Corruption happens because we are Africans desperately trying to be Europeans. That's the ONLY reason we have corruption. Today I laugh when I see our leaders being sworn into office with bibles and korans. Useless sheets of paper. Because some greedy white men came with guns and bombs and defeated your ancestors and colonised your region a mere century ago, it made you throw away THOUSANDS OF YEARS OF AFRICAN KNOWLEDGE AND CIVILISATION, keeping just your traditional wear. When you start to swear in your leaders into power THE WAY YOUR ANCESTORS DID FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS, with powerful African spiritual totems and charms which they DARE NOT FLOUT, you will see the end of corruption. When you REVISIT AND UPGRADE your traditional religion, which was a POWERFUL MORAL CODE AGAINST CORRUPTION, you will see the end of corruption. Until then, keep worshiping FAKE FOREIGN GODS OF YOUR INVADERS who claim that you are ''FORGIVEN'' of all crimes including GRAND LOOTING, once you ''accept'' them as your ''personal lord and saviour'' and go on ''pilgrimage'' to Mecca. You built a MIGHTY National Cathedral and National Mosque in Abuja, for the INVADERS' religion. But not a single TEMPLE for your ANCESTORS' RELIGION. AND YOU WONDER WHY THERE IS CORRUPTION? Brainwashed nation wondering why there is corruption. Keep wondering. |
