Kubwa building collapse response update

Four persons have been rescued from the building that collapsed this morning in Kubwa, Abuja. One of Two that were taken to hospital has been treated of minor injuries and discharged.

The rescue operation is about to be concluded after which the site will be secured and handed over to appropriate authorities.
The rescue team comprised of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), FCT Emergency Management Department, Fire Service, Nigerian Police,NSCDC etc

Im sick and tired of typing rest in peace to death that could've been prevented if we are to honest and sincere with ourselves but hell no, we rather cut corners just to multiply gains at the detriment of others.

When the foundation of a building is faulty things like this are bound to happen. They should start jailing engineers responsible for this tragedy. I still can't watch that Jos videos, I keep skipping it.

Where did the building collapse? What street or address?

Always consult a qualified builder when you have need. Avoid quacks and touts claiming to be building engineers.

Just imagine after paying a lot of money to rent apartment, building will now collapse and kill you and of not killed , render you homeless and send you back to square 1 without compensation from the house owners or the government.

Imagine roof collapsing on someone doing press-ups on his wife or... concubine / girlfriend.

You see storey buildings with interlocking? Beware of those ones

Their faults are hidden beneath, water siping in goes unnoticed

Issues with the foundation goes unnoticed as well
