*Job Title: SENIOR AUDITOR*

Salary Budget: 500,000 – 700,000

*RESPONSIBILITIES*

Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans for retail operations, ensuring thorough and systematic reviews. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential weaknesses or areas of non-compliance. Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures within the retail environment.

Perform financial and operational audits to verify the accuracy and compliance of records with standards and policies.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Prepare clear and concise audit reports, summarizing findings and recommendations.

Work closely with various departments to facilitate the implementation of audit recommendations.

*EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS*

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is highly preferred.

At least six years of experience in internal auditing, with significant experience in the retail industry.

Current employment in a retail setup, with direct involvement in retail operations and audit processes.

Strong knowledge of retail industry regulations, standards, and best practices. Proficiency in audit software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

*REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS*

Proven project management skills, capable of managing multiple audit projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build effective working relationships.

Expertise in critical thinking, identifying potential risks, and developing strategic solutions to mitigate them.

Adaptable to changing regulatory environments and evolving industry standards. Skilled in creating detailed and understandable audit reports that convey complex findings in a clear manner. Commitment to staying updated with industry trends, emerging risks, and new auditing techniques to enhance audit quality.
