Former spokesperson of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Timi Frank has warned the Nigerian police to be professional in their conduct as the #EndBadGovernance protest in Nigeria commences today, Thursday, August 1.

"For far too long, the Nigerian masses have endured more than can be imagined and it is cheering to see them stand up for their right to make demands on the Government from across North and South.

"I am getting reports of good outing in Lagos, Port Harcourt and parts of the North like Kano and Sokoto already," Timi Frank said.

"One thing I have further to say is to the Nigerian police. I urge the Nigerian police to be professional. The job of the Nigerian police is to protect the protesters and not to harm the protesters. We will not tolerate any overzealous police officer trying to hijack this protest for any reason whatsoever. Protest is a constitutional right and that right is currently being exercised by Nigerians and the Government and the police and the Armed forces must respect that constitutional right of Nigerians and provide protection for the protests and to try to hijack the protest under any guise," Timi Frank warned.
