You need to explain how you sold your childhood to provide for your family.... don't bother to explain how you sold your soul to the devil to attain megastar status. We see the inverted burning church pendant and the satanic music videos.. you can still come back to God though.. Jesus loves you

Fools don't realise that you can't treat your body anyhow and not expect nasty consequences.
Drive a car carelessly and you will begin to have problems in the body and engine functions.
So it is with the human body.
Diseases caused by Smoking include
1. Lung cancer.
2.Atherosclerosis which in turn can bring on devastating episodes of Stroke.
3.Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease ( COPD).
4.Aortic Aneurysm which is often fatal.
5. Esophageal Cancer.
6. Oropharyngeal Cancer.
7.Emphysema.
8.Coronary Artery Disease ( CAD)
9.Asthma.

Just say the truth. You smoke because you like to smoke. No one asks coffee drinkers and alcohol drinkers why they drink, so don’t ask weed smokers why they smoke.

Nigha, you certainly owes no body any explanation.......Na you get your lungs and you have the right to do anything to them and nobody have the right to question you..

When people say it was Shallipopi that influenced him to start smoking, I only laugh...Cuz I don't believe anyone can influence anybody to start a bad habit if he's not interested in it in the first place....

Back in my poly days,I had a lot of gees who smoked...Tho they tried to compel me to go into smoking but I refuted and refused cuz I wasn't interested....

The only thing I see in all of this is that the nigha waited until his exit days from Mavins before he can start smoking cuz Don Jazzy didn't give him the chance to do that...

Honestly I always look forward to reading your comments cos it's always mature and sometimes funny.

Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has opened up about how the death of his dad affected his childhood.

The ‘Calm Down’ crooner said the death of his father left him the responsibility of catering for his family at a young age and in the process, he was “forced to sell” his childhood.

In a candid chat with GRM, Rema, 24, said he wants to “feel young again.”

He said he recently started smoking cigarettes in a bid to feel “free and break some rules again.”

Rema lamented that despite being an adult before deciding to smoke, people still criticise his decision because he’s a celebrity.

He said,

The best gift God gave man is freedom but the world wants to make sure you are in cage

Rema said he sold his childhood to become a famous celebrity in order to fend for his family.

It's the same thing as selling his soul to the devil when properly interpreted.

He's an adult and can smoke whatever his health can accommodate.

Why is this news?

Very stup!d and lame excuse to smoke.

Who are the public relation officer of this so called yeyebrety. You grant interview to say, you started smoking because you wanted to feel like a child again.

Why don't you start bedwetting again because you want to feel like a child again. Anyways, too much money can make you do stupid things sha. Best of luck.

#Money can't buy happiness, but I still want to have it. The reality!

You might probably be older than rema and you fail to understand his point of view, he is old enough to smoke he doesn't need any permission from anyone to smoke, read what he said again a second time to understand

When Universal Music Group (UMG) acquired Mavin Records from Don Jazzy, I expected to see a lot more degeneracy and I was not wrong.

Rema is now constantly seen smoking, Ayra Starr was seen almost naked, shaking her small nyash in Barbados with Rihanna few days back. If not for Universal, who born her papa well to hang out with Rihanna? Who dash monkey banana?? Something other A-list artists around the world can only dream of doing?

The only people I pity are the parents who's children are already carving out role models from people like Ayra Starr and Rema. If you can't see by now what is going on, then I just implore you to watch them from now hence, because the degeneracy has only just begun. Mavin Records is about to take degeneracy in Afrobeats to a whole new level!

your own 2cent tho

So Rihanna was not naked, her ass isn’t small also? Rihanna isn’t a degenerate? Rihanna that goes topless in her music videos is who you are putting on a pedestal because she is not Nigerian?

The girl hasn’t even done half of what Rihanna has done and yet to you she be ‘degenerate’

You are insulting someone that comes from your country for doing exactly the same Rihanna does and even worse? What A list artists dream of meeting Rihanna? Are you drunk? Who is Rihanna right now in music?

Who have you met? Who can you meet? Who born your papa well to be more than keyboard warrior on Nairaland?

Bro you will die a nobody, that one is for sure
