ASIWAJU'S GOVERNMENT-CONTROLLED PROTESTS CODENAMED PROJECT MEJỌ

8 is MEJỌ in Yoruba. 8 is Asiwaju's magic number that metamorphosed into the mysterious symbol on his signature cap. The 8th month was chosen for Asiwaju's government-controlled protests codenamed PROJECT MEJỌ.

Asiwaju knew that the EndSARS protests of 2020 began out of spontaneity. It was that spontaneity that made the EndSARS protests so powerful and hard to control by the ruling party. It was that EndSARS spontaneity that caught the Buhari government off guard. Asiwaju ended up as a scapegoat of that spontaneity losing the Lekki Toll Gate in the aftermath of the EndSARS protests till this day.

Asiwaju learnt a bitter lesson and would never allow his government to be caught off guard. Therefore, he read the angry mood of Nigerians and expertly planned 8 steps ahead by launching PROJECT MEJỌ.

Asiwaju's government paid some groups to announce an 8 days protest that would begin on August 1st to August 10th minus the two Muslim Fridays of August 2nd and August 9th.

PROJECT MEJỌ was designed to encourage Nigerians to express their fury and pent-up frustrations against the Asiwaju government during the government-controlled protests of August. PROJECT MEJỌ was designed to neutralize the threat a full-blown revolution that Asiwaju's political analysts warned could spark off anytime between January 2025 and September 2025.

From all indications so far, the first lap of PROJECT MEJỌ is a success. Far less than the projected 88 protesters were killed nationwide. As expected, Nigerians are no longer as furious or as frustrated as they were before the government-controlled protests of August.

Asiwaju's government is warming up for the second lap of PROJECT MEJỌ in October when a minimum of 8 protesters and a maximum of 88 protesters are projected to be killed in another round of government-controlled protests.

As always, Asiwaju the master-tactician remains 8 steps ahead of any upcoming revolution or coup against his 8 years presidency.
