Police ke? I know that's the proper thing to do but in this case the boy will prefer this to police and this punishment is even better than that of the police. Police gat nothing to do. What they know how to do is to arrest, put you inside cell thereafter request money from your family for bail, so after that what else. Mind you don't forget you wen arrest and who them arrest go spend....

He reminds me of Baba Dudu the notorious boy thief while we were growing up.

Na so dem dey always chain and beat him almost everyday.

His parents were comfortable but he just couldn't stop stealing things like one under a spell.

This is not jungle justic but a warning to not continue in such act. This practice is an ancient one in communities where leniency is practiced and thieves are paraded this way to shame them.
