One of the greatest mistakes you can do is to marry someone with the hope that they will change in marriage.

Those who know will tell you that change doesn't come easy in marriage.

Sometimes what you are expecting to change gets worse.

While discussing on this subject yesterday, my friend put it this way:

"Marrying somebody with the hope that they will change is a recipe for trouble. It's just best to take people as they are and be sure you can live with that."

I totally agree especially for helping one manage their expectations.

Not like change is impossible though, but it has to be on the person who requires the change.

As a spouse, you can only inspire change. You can't force it.
