Igbo man didn't become lawmaker in Rivers state, Igbo man became lawmaker in his own indigenous state called Rivers state.


Rivers state is made up of different tribes, namely:

Ijaw
Igbo
Ogoni
Kalabari
Etc


So the Igbos you mentioned are indigenes of Rivers state who are among the owners of the Rivers state land even though some of them like Nyesome Wike and co have been deceived to believe they are not Igbos because of crude oil politics but to none Igbos they are Igbos when shit hit the ceiling fan.
