Your Tinubu did not even buy Nigerian assets since he became President. He forcefully snatched Nigerian assets and shared it to between himself, Sheyi and his extended family.

Bode George is working for Tinubu and Wike ally. Yoruba people are betrayal.
Re: Atiku Would Have Failed As President — Bode George by emkz: 9:43am On Aug 24
ElevationD:

“ Had Atiku been able to consolidate his victory by uniting the PDP and bringing back the likes of Kwankwaso, Obi, and G5, he'd have won the 2023 elections. The divisions within the PDP into main PDP, Kwankwaso's NNPPC, Obi's LP and Wike's aso-ebi boys split PDP votes. That split handed victory to President Tinubu. Atiku might have worked to prove himself and immortalize himself as a good president, or he could have ruined his opportunity like a former president did. No one knows for sure”.

Atiku’s disloyalty, greed and desperation must forever remain as an example in Nigerian politics. He won the 1999 governorship election in Adamawa state and was handpicked out of a group of five great leaders from the north, to become OBJ’s vice. He was selected because he was the leader of the then Shehu Musa Yaradua’s political engine (PDM) and thought to be able to secure more votes for PDP in the north, thus defeating the then APP. That secured and in a little time he bared his fangs on OBJ himself. OBJ allowed him preside over the then economic team and Atiku further took over the governors. He ensured that he had 21 PDP governors under his control and then challenged OBJ for the Presidency in 2003. Thankfully the likes of the late Tony Anenih were behind OBJ and he won. That greed cost Atiku his opportunity in 2007 and possibly for ever of becoming the President. That was his clearest and best route to the Presidency.

Atiku had no business in 2023 with PDP/Presidency. There was no chance that he could win. The permutations were very clear. His entry cost the party Kwakanso (another greedy man). The party lost Obi and soon it would be Wike. When Atiku failed to galvanize the party after the convention, allowing the likes of Wike and his group to establish communication with Tinubu, the rest became history.

The lesson for me is that if he could not unite PDP in their dark hour; if he could not unite the aggrieved who had left/were leaving; if he could remain so aloof and not caring, how would he unite the country? The same story, just like Buhari and his divisive rulership would have continued. Atiku was not willing to shift grounds, make concessions and move forward. Even in this moment, we have not seen visible moves by Atiku to unite PDP.

Now he must be saying a lot of “if only”. With the national reach of the PDP, Obi or Wike on the ballot would have won the election. Again, the greed of Wike ( who chased out Obi and Umahi), further troubled the party. Atiku’s advisers failed and he failed himself too. Hopefully Atiku should not be on the PDP ballot in 2027, so the party can reposition and have a better Southern candidate.

I enjoyed reading this analysis.

It is spot on.

They have not learnt the lessons from 2023. This is why the same thing would happen in 2027.

I wish them well.

He sold over 100 companies established by our founding fathers to himself and Olusegun Obasanjo including their families and friends at peanut price

He sold NEPA
He sold Nigerian Airways
He sold Niger Insurance
He sold Ajaokuta Steel Roiling Mill
He sold Delta Steel Rolling Mill
He sold Osogbo Steel Rolling Mill
He sold Nigerian Gas Company

I have forgotten many of them, I am sure Google can help

But we held him by his neck when he wanted to sell NNPC. Oloriburuku Oloshi somebody

Yoruba will always be tricky and cunning

You guys and the stereo type: Yoruba this, yoruba that. What did he say that was wrong? If PDP/Atiku had kept to the agreement of a southern candidate, would it not have favoured Obi or Wike? That was the reason you people supported another northerner to rule again after the 8 years of Buhari (as long as he is not a Yoruba). You guys are so crude in politics and have not realised why you are disadvantaged. Keep hating on Yoruba (unfortunately for you, we have never depend on you).

since you have gone to school and learnt, then I dont see why answering simple questions is an uphill task for you.

You sound really hurt. What's the problem?

Are you aware that asking questions is the foundation of research?

Since you have read, studied, researched and not playing dumb, am surprised that you can't answer this very simple question for a person of your intellectual level...

What are those Nigerian assets atiku sold to himself?
Some of them just heard people saying it but cannot pinpoint those things they claimed he sold to himself.
In this country people will just wake up to accuse you of anything and those so called intellectuals will keep on disseminating it without due diligence. Naija my people.
The same Timmi won't answer your question but deflate you to another thing. They are chameleonic in nature.

When these people who support tinubu are asked to assess tinubus performance, they will say "it's too early to assess his performance. He needs more time".

When they are asked what they think atiku, obi, sowore and co would have done differently, they will say all these aspirants would have failed as president.

If they can't assess the performance of the person in office, how are they able to assess the performance of obi, atiku, sowore and co who are yet to be in office?

Is it like they are blind to the present but have a crystal ball that helps them tell the future or it's the lens of sycophancy and tribalism that they put on?
Hope Obi is paying you well?

Atiku's presidency situation or performance is very much a conjecture at this time, but what we've seen so far indicates a worse-than-expected outcome under Balablu's leadership. angry angry sad sad

It is enough and enough is enough.

Did Obasanjo write this book after OR before Atiku’s magnanimity allowed him to be re-elected in 2003? Is that not the year that Buhari first ran for president as the candidate of the north, because of Atiku’s refusal to be a tribal president?

Moreover, if any of Obasanjo’s allegations is true, why did Baba iyabo fail to prosecute him for his crimes during his second term of four years? Do you know? Do you have any clue?

He didn't say Atiku would have failed because he can't govern or lacks capacity. He said he would have failed due to southern resistance to another 8 years for the north. It's all there in the article.

Did Wike and Makinde fail because Ikwerre and Ibadan succeeded to continue as governor after eight years of their tribesmen
