What Le the real farmers are under the sun and rain on the bush, the "gardeners" with fixed nails and eyelashes, golden watch and shining shoes are here signing cheques. And someone is telling me that we would have food sufficient to feed the teeming populace. No way! It doesn't work that way 14 Likes |

This is the best way to go , stop putting your eggs in one basket, how can a country as big as Nigeria wait for the north or north central before it can feed herself ? We need all the states of the federation to begin producing agric commodities at exponential rate if they can do this, food inflation will fall , export earnings will rise , IGR of most states will also balance out. Our governors should stop being lazy ! 6 Likes |

If this is true, then it's commendable. Northerners are busy making the farming environment hostile so shifting to another territory is a nice move. 1 Like |

Na waoh. The way government programmes like this are always executed or implemented and real farmers like me don't even get to know and benefit from it is baffling. You only get to hear that so so number of farmers were empowered or see pictures like this one without hearing about the event before hand. Other fellow farmers you know of will also be as surprised as you are. I wonder who these special farmers really are. 2 Likes |

I was running to open the thread hoping to see agriculture equipments and machineries, I ended up seeing the faces of the same criminals and embezzlers doing jamboree as usual. If you hear the amount of money used in organizing this charade eeh. Enemies of the same people they rule |

okezuoemmanue: I agree with you 💯. So they are flagging off an agricultural project inside an air conditioned auditorium. They can't deceive us. I bet the so-called agricultural project starts and ends inside that auditorium. It's so sad that serious matters have become show business in Nigeria. 1 Like |

More like targeting 500,000 APC supporters. Bring down price of fertilizer. Why should farming benefits be targeted to people. Targeted programs up and down. The economy is still in shambles. Help parents who are working, they will reply that they provided student loans. Help small businesses they will tell you that they have provided monie trader. Increase Civil servant wages, they will tell you that they have provided rice. Help put the economy to work, they will tell you to hold your governors responsible. I have never seen such height of confusion. 1 Like |
