Na for that filling station I decide say, I go prefer another country wey I no go dey queue for fuel...

Abeg ooo, I love Naija, but I no fit queue still buy for 950/litre.

first of all I want to apologize to you personally, you don't know me, but I've secretly hated on you (I'm anti-japa) I have liked post attacking you etc. Forgive a brother. Peace

Recent happenings have clearly showed this is not a renewed hope or anything, instead this is renewed shege banza pro max raise to power 7.

I don't mind Lesotho or Rwanda or Botswana or any country where there is less people (population I believe is our No1 problem) and most importantly, country wey I fit drive enter gas station without queueing or fighting. A less chaotic place for my peace of mind will do.

I like your post and you are a man of vision. Infact thats where I am going too. A peaceful and affordable African or less popular European Nation or South American nation like Chile.

The best decision I ever made in my entire life was to run away from Nigeria with my family at 48.

I am healthier, children doing well at school, and the environment is clean, friendly and without any form of insecurity.

Leave Nigeria when you're still alive.

I couldn’t have agreed more with you

Forget that one Helenius. He is a govt employee. Works in the ministry of Information and Communication, so you should understand the kind of role he is assigned which is Propaganda. He frequently travels oversea and come back. Na road accident go kpai him one day.

South Africa doesn't have crude oil yet there has never been fuel scarcity. Nigeria is a failed state.

I love my dear Country. I've been a model citizen. I can say nobody's blood is greener.

However, recent happenings have forced me to look at things differently. I have lost total faith and confidence in President Tinubu with his handling of the subsidy issue and exchange rate which has exacerbated untold hardship in the country.

The refinery issues, the Dangote refinery and our 4 comatose refinery with its constant date shifting has really got on my nerves(for real) I have come to observe all these people do is whine us. Tommorrow, it's %90 operational, next tomorrow it is shifted to next month ending... This particular issue has doubled the hardship in the land. Fuel scarcity + mad queues to buy fuel for 850-1k per litre.

The high rate of food prices everywhere... It's unheard of and we've not had things this bad.

The worst of it, the salt rubbing on our wounds, A senator/house member/politicians 21 million monthly take home embarassed embarassed It dont sit well with me and anybody I've interviewed on the topic. This is insensitive, selfish and the main reason for my change of thought.

On this note, regrettably (I love this country) I announce my intentions to Japa. I can't believe it, but as it is now, I'm willing to consider any country where I dont have to queue before I buy fuel.

What I have seen and faced in various petrol stations in the last 1 week is eye opening. I seen raw undiluted suffering, with no end in sight but lies and few rich politicians.

Japa, let me research biko and call some people.

Nlfpmd

If your Japa consideration, is mainly hinged on zero fuel queue........ In Cape Verde, zero queues and fuel is cheap........ 🤣😂⛽

Only those who live outside Nigeria will understand you.
Nigeria is far behind.

Developed countries you never have to worry about getting fuel or whatever, public transportation is efficient, if you want to drive there are affordable electric vehicles. Light is a constant thing, just do your daily job and chill, government is not choking your neck

Also, government people apart, Most Nigerians are terrible people, with terrible personalities. I dont know the best way to qualify it. Nigerians will do things that they can't ever try outside Nigeria.

E. G, the woman who tore her husband passport, she waited to leave Europe, landed in 9ja before she tore off her hubby's passport. Dem no born the lady well make she tear uk passport for Heathrow, but she nor send anybody papa for here. 🤷

Nigerians will eat and throw nylon on the ground right there, Nigerians will sheet inside gutters.

Most Nigerians will go to UK and dare not litter the ground, would hardly wanna sheet in the gutter? Why

Why do we do such to ourselves?? We need to change our selves.

All these things you mentioned are human thing and not specific to Nigerians, you don't want to see how other nationalities behave in their country, but they've law enforced, so if you do anyhow there are repercussions, but who is enforcing law in Nigeria? The blame is on the government please, not citizens

Are you not tired of blaming the government, I'm starting to blame the people I can see and influence...

Last time rain fell, I legit saw a whole building with people, men, woman, even caring a baby, the whole house was in on it, emptying a big drum of dirt inside the gutter.

I shouted where I was and asked why would they do such a thing, "water will carry it away was what they told me" can you believe that...

We need a BIG reorientation. .. It's not funny, if you think it's only politicians, it's not.

That's a stupid thing to do, but what are the consequences for their actions? None! And that's because Nigeria does not have a functional system to put them in their place, if such should happen here, I only need to call the police and they'll intervene asap, would you have done the same?
