Hello people, please this Huawei y9 2018 displays error mode. The reason is that, my friend was trying to update it and the battery was low, so the phone went off midway. Please if anyone has a solution or knows a technician that can help out. I'm presently in Benin, Edo state.

You have to start all over again, download the stock ROM firmware and flash it to the phone. You will need a laptop

I am there now Boss, the guy doesn't have new battery so he's boosting this one instead. The battery was at 3.06 when he read it, so the guy said he will boost it to 3.6.
Is that good sir ?

I will advise you changing the battery to avoid it doing same thing another day
Just note that the issue is the battery
Anything he can do the battery and it start working but if u have money buy new battery to avoid it doing another day

forget that one misleading you. It ain't any battery issues. Its a software issues, the firmware is bricked and corrupted because while you were updating it and it didn't finish the update until the phone went off, you need to flash it

it's a simple stuff, it's even something you can do by yourself. I'm not an engineer or technician myself, but it's something I normally do for play and fun, I have flashed and update lots of phones firmwares, same with laptop bios in the past before. I have also flashed a dead bricked Tecno phone before, (as in a dead phone that would not even power on because it's totally bricked, I flashed the firmware and it power on and came back to life) All the solutions are there on the internet for you, just search, read and follow procedures or instructions. All what you need is just a laptop PC, your usb cable the software to use like sp flash tools, download the driver for the usb cable and that phone firmware or stock ROM. That's all, then follow the procedures online and flash it.

The thing is that from what I've seen online, I'd have to buy the file or something online. Also, the guy I've met that claim to have the file said while it's downloading or something, it stops half way(I mean while he was installing it on the phone)...
