You made a mistake by resuming before seeing the offer letter 2. Always ask all the necessary questions during the interview stage inorder to get clarity 3. Respond to your boss in this manner Subject: Clarification on Offer Letter Dear HR I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to request clarification on some aspects of the offer letter I received for the xyz position. Specifically, I would appreciate clarification on the following: 1. "The 20% agreement provided I am with the organization for a year" 2. "We did not have an agreement as to me working on public as it not stated in the offer letter" 3. Could you please provide me with more information or clarify these points? Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to hearing back from you soon. Best regards, 6 Likes |

Oga them go whine you for here o. Better take that job nothing wrong with working on public holidays knowing that it’s a mart and mostly holidays they even make more sales. Secondly the increment issues can be resolved when you resume work. Don’t start acting greedy from day one cause people here that will advice against the job will gladly take a pay cut to fill in the same role. 5 Likes |

Verydarkhearted:You are the few smart ones on this forum, because I remember when I was desperate in need of a job, read where someone didn't want to take the job, I quietly message him and requested he link me up, I took a 10% pay cut & on numerous occasions he has sent mail to the company mail requesting if the job is still available, unfortunately I have access to the mail and I was seeing all his pleas. 3 Likes |

We have 31 public holidays this year alone. This is something you can discuss unofficially so as to make you MD agree to your terms. Be diplomatic about it as there are no Jon out there. 2 Likes |
