Obj, the most charismatic Nigerian leader who failed to leverage on his nationwide acceptance to build solid democratic foundations and institutions. Instead he allowed selfishness take the better part of him.

Bad foundation indeed ruins a building...the case of present Nigeria.

Many Nigerians are partially deaf. Particularly Lagos residents. There is so much noise from generators, buses, marketplaces, places of worship etc.

Nearly all soldiers that fought during the civil war have similar problems.

The aftermath effect is as damaging as the current indiscriminate use of headphones by the youths.
Headphones doesnt cause ear lose, unless you're blasting at 100% volume, even at that still nothing close to a gun shot

Instead of solving issues in a broader manner whereby everyone is carried along, na to dey start foundation wey no fit attend to more than 100 people at best. Fix the health sector, let there be jobs and increase the purchasing power of the people.

Obasanjo, the best president Nigeria ever had.

Even in retirement, he's still useful to the country. What about that dollard called Major general Mohammad Buhari, the kunu shacking mumu general, he has never been useful to the country any bit. kiss

1. He fought in a war, with a lot of noise. Noise of the type in war is bad for the hearing of soldiers .

(Infact both Nigerian and Biafran veterans should check their hearing, especially if they were in the artillery).

2. Hearing falls over time, and it gets worse after 40 years of age. Of course, most won't totally lose their hearing, but you cannot have the same level of hearing you had as a twenty year old.
this is true

All of you politicians are partially deaf

This one is particularly most deaf, for endorsing Buhari despite knowing he was clueless about the economy, thereby making APC shege possible, and Tinubu's ebilokan continuity of the worsening extreme poverty.

How could Baba Iyabo be such an ingrate to PDP that made him president from Abacha's prison where he had been made bankrupt

citizenisb:
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo says President Muhammadu Buhari may not do well in economy and foreign affairs, except in military matters.

“Buhari is not a very hot person on the economy and foreign affairs,” Obasanjo said.

The former President stated this on Monday at the third International Conference on African Development Issues — themed, “Driving inclusive and sustainable development in Africa: Models, methods and policies” — organised by Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State.

While reacting to a question posed to him by a member of the audience: “Is there any hope for Nigeria under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari?”, Obasanjo replied, “Is there any hope for Nigeria under this administration? I came back from Geneva, Switzerland a few days ago to attend a conference titled, ‘Are elections giving democracy a bad name?’ We had an election, we elected a leader and the good thing about democracy is that the power you have to elect a leader is also the power you have to remove him. I am saying this because I said earlier that if you don’t see any leader that has done well in the 56 years of Nigeria’s independence, then let us forget about Nigeria.

“I will tell you what I know and I will tell you what I don’t know. I know Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. He served under me in the military. His characteristics that I know, his behaviour that I know, he has not deviated from them. He was never a perfect man, he is not a perfect man and no leader can ever be a perfect man because they are human beings. But if you read my book, what I said about him is correct. He is not a hot person when it comes to economy. He is not a very hot person when it comes to foreign affairs. But he will do well in matters of military and he will do well in fighting Boko Haram.”

In the news for the wrong reason since he is not doing restitution for bringing APC calamity upon us.

Iyabo Obasanjo writes father, says: ‘Dear Daddy, you don’t own Nigeria

December 18, 2013

In what is turning out to be a season of open letters, daughter of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Iyabo, has ruled out further communication with her father till death, describing him as a liar, manipulator, two-faced hypocrite determined to foist on President Goodluck Jonathan what no one would contemplate with him as president.

Senator Iyabo Obasanjo in a letter to her father accused him of having an egoistic craving for power and living a life where only men of low esteem and intellect thrive.

In the 11-page letter dated December 16, 2013 exclusively obtained by Vanguard, Iyabo accused her father of orchestrating a third term for himself as president, cruelty to family members, abandonment of children and grandchildren, and also, a legendary reputation of maltreatment of women.

Iyabo who forswore further political engagements in Nigeria denied any political motive for her missive, and described Nigeria as a country where her father and his ilk have helped to create a situation where smart, capable people bend down to imbeciles to survive. She particularly noted her experience as chairman of the Senate Committee on Health when she led the committee on a retreat appropriated for in the budget only for her to be prosecuted for it.

Iyabo, first child of the former president, started the letter titled, Open Letter to my Father with a 4th century Chinese proverb by Mencius which states: “The great man is he who does not lose his child’s heart.”

Her letter:

“It brings me no joy to have to write this but since you started this trend of open letters I thought I would follow suit since you don’t listen to anyone anyway. The only way to reach you may be to make the public aware of some things. As a child well brought up by my long-suffering mother in Yoruba tradition, I have been reluctant to tell the truth about you but as it seems you still continue to delude yourself about the kind of person you are and I think for posterity’s sake it is time to set the records straight.

That will be a different topic for discussion another time.

The point is, Nigeria politicians are the most stupid creatures in the world, more stupid than animals in the forest.
It's common sense that OBJ should have built a world class hospital in his backyard Nigeria so that he can easily have full body check up every year. In fact without being told at his age with the amount of money he stole, it's common sense to have a routine annual full check up. He shouldn't wait until a problem occurs. But no, they are stupid to even care about their body even with all their money.
It's a shame he still goes to London for vacations and health issues. No world president does that.
Even if mumu people voted them always, why can't they be smart enough to do things that will not be mumuish?
Think about it, if any of these idiots have urgent medical emergencies, by the time they fly them 6_7 hours to London, them don kpai for plane. Naaaa

Don't mind him.
Now he's going about masquerading as an elder statesman who has the interests of the people at heart, the same person who popularized the politics of "do or die elections" and tried to extend his tenure to 3 terms
