A Leading Upstream & Midstream Oil and Gas company in Nigeria requires suitable candidates to fill the following position below:

Job Title: Planning Engineer

Location: Lagos.

Specialization: Gas Plant (Operations)
Job Summary:
To ensure adequate planning and scheduling of Gas plant manpower, production and maintenance for both long term and short term.
Key Duties
1. Develop 5 Year Strategic Plan: (5 Year Manpower Plan and production plan. Long term major maintenance plan. Assign cost and other resources.)
2. Develop Annual Business Plan: (Annual manpower, production and preventive maintenance plan. Annual corrective maintenance estimate, annual chemicals consumption plan, annual contracts requirement. Assign cost and other resources. Maintain critical spares procurement schedule)
3. Maintenance Scheduling-SAP: (Schedule the PM activities and issue 14 day rolling schedule, schedule the corrective maintenance schedule, track completion of activities and close the work orders in SAP in a timely manner. Maintain the material procurement tracking list)
4. Responsible to analyse and develop reports: (Maintain KPIs for the LPG-1, monthly stewardship reports with analysis, optimization opportunities and initiatives, highlight re-work and other challenges, maintain bad actor and other reliability programs)

Requirements:
1. Minimum of Second-Class Upper (B.sc)/HND in Mechanical Engineering is required.
2. 10 – 15 years’ experience in similar role with minimum of 6 years of experience in Maintenance Planning in a process plant and adequate understanding in Procurement, Budgeting, Business Planning and Plant Process and operation.
3. Any Certification in Engineering such as NSE, COREN etc is an added advantage.
4. Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, Excel and Power Point
5. Good communication skills.
