Some underrated social skills you may have to start practicing if you aren't already. 1. Listen attentively while conversing with people. Listening is the most difficult part of communication, yet the most powerful way to engage in a meaningful conversation. Listening is so vital and I wonder how most people underestimate it. Here my question: How do you plan saying something reasonable in a conversation when you aren't even listening to what the other person is saying?. No wonder people easily get fed up when conversing with you. ______ 2. Strive to remember peoples' names. This is one deeply effective social skill that can win you a special place in peoples' hearts, even though it could be dead difficult if you aren't someone with a naturally sharp memory. If you're such person, you can try these few tips below. • when people tells you their name, try using it severally inside the conversation you'd have with them. • if the name is complicated or very difficult to pronounce, ask them for the shorter version of it, or create a short version of it by yourself. • repeat the name severally after they tell you. • find something you're familiar with, that relates to the name, so that when you remember that thing, you'd remember the name. Etc. _______ 3. Help, or give to people first. I've said this countlessly, and I'll keep saying it. The greatest networking hac*k is your willingness to help or give to people first. It's as simple as that. If you aren't willing to help or give something first, you're just joking in the name of networking with people. Whenever you meet someone for the first time, your default should be: "In what way can I help or give to this person?"... This one mindset shift will change your life. ______ 4. Pretend everyone was sent to teach you something. I first saw the above quote from Ben Meer, a LinkedIn influencer, and I loved it instantly. Having this mindset alone would sharpen, shapen, and mold you. With this mindset, you won't struggle with your ego when it comes to learning from others, whether they're older, younger or of your age. You'd be steps ahead of countless people too when it comes to knowledge. ______ I hope this helps someone. To your success! |

I was on a zoom call with Abraham Ofure Orukpe sometime ago and he said something that I found helpful He said, "there are only two ways you can get access to somebody you admire and want to be like" ✅You can serve your way in Or ✅You can pay your way in. If you choose the second option, you can do that by paying for their offer or courses But the problem is, you might be seen as just a random person who paid for his/her offer But when you serve your way in, you leave a remarkable memory in their mind How can you serve your way in? Look for a way to offer help no matter how little Find a way to add value to their life and they'll not forget you in a hurry. Hope this helps. |

When you start making money, don’t hold it too tightly. Learn how to release money. Send it on errands. Money is a tool. You must learn how to use it as a tool. Run paid ads, learn a new skill, Buy books , courses, resources that will help you make more money.. |

Very Correct. See as you GROW, not all your friends will remain your friends.. Some will just have to go, it's fine. you might need to cut some off if they show no sign of improvement or desire not to grow as well.. You need to surround yourself with Quality People. Atimes where Quality is Needed in a Particular Area, Quantity is Limited. It's difficult to accept but then it's True. That's why you must constantly UPDATE yourself so you don't get left out. Not just Financially ooo but other areas as well. TRAIN EVERYTHING my Bro. |

No matter what you say or do, some will love you and some will hate you, mostly for no specific reason. Others will give you a benefit of the doubt until you prove them right or wrong. Rest assured, still, an overwhelming majority of humans on earth don't know you and cannot possibly care about you or what you do. Don't limit yourself to fit into what you think everyone thinks about you. Don't limit yourself for acceptance. That which you believe is right, say it and do it. Damn the consequences. That which you legitimately desire, pursue it. Damn the consequences. It is worrisome how some keep quiet or lay low for the fear of "who will marry me". Man, woman, go after your dreams! You'll find your woman or man while at it. Don't shrink yourself. And, even if you don't, you'll be more fulfilled than one who chose a low life only to end up single / married and depressed. |
