This man was angry for about 20mins but he has spent over 96hrs in distress. Paying the Bolt guy wouldn't have costed him more than 20k but now he will pay millions in Police bail, legal fees, court bail and compensation and it might still cost him his political career.
Anger plus pride is a pure recipe for disaster

Should I say pride comes before anger and anger before a fall.

Pride and anger can ruin in a second what you have labored for in years. Smh.

I understand the gravity of his mistake but let us please temper justice with mercy since he has apologized and shown remorse. He is a relatively young guy and will learn a serous lesson from this his misadventure and misbehavior.

I pray that his victim(s) will find it in their hearts to forgive him. Sincerely, it's a very difficult place to be when you have ever experienced the humiliation and injustice similar to what that Bolt guy suffered in his hands and the mere thought that others may have suffered same or even worse form of injustice from him but got no justice.

I hope many others have learnt from how pride and arrogance brought this young man down and will not boast about in their wisdom, might and riches.

bro, abeg na.

We will forgive him, but let him face consequences of his actions.
If there are no accountablility and people don't face consequences, everyone will act anyhow and damn it.

He is not a 15 year old boy, he is a 44 year old man and he knows what he was doing. And obviously this is not his first time. Let us drag him to the fullest so others can learn and the world will be a safer place free from animals that have no respect for human rights

The more we tamper justice with mercy, the weaker our systems become. Assault is a criminal offence and should have consequences for it to act as a deterence.

Tomorrow we will talk about saner climes. Sitting down to resolve the issue because he got caught and called out? He verbally and physically assaulted the guy and should be held accountable.

Do you mind that poster? Those are the kinds that fit perfectly into the box of hypocrites. In fact, bloody hypocrites. If it were to be a case of men in uniform against civilians, you would see them hovering about like vultures shouting for justice, tagging the entire police force with fiendish and stained adjectives. Now the table is turned, someone they feel affiliated with politically behaves as the bad eggs in the police would, they are begging for forgiveness on his behalf with the excuse of "he is human". Was he supposed to be a log of wood to know what manner suits human?

If armed men can be derobbed for abusing their position, this idiotic arrogant man should be made to know that he is equal to everyone else.

Saying "i will make you disappear..." is itself a criminal intent that should never be taken lightly. How many people has he made disappear, assault or brutalise? He has questions to answer, and answer, he must answer!

What is the punishment for a poor person with similar behavior? What is good for the geese is good for the gander.

The assault precede the recording, from what the driver said which to me, make sense,he said he started recording when he was no longer sure of his safety because as at that time the man had started threatening him.
Mr. That argument does not hold water. If you are convinced you are not sure of your safety, you leave an area immediately. That is a basic human instinct. Note the footage is from him not from a neutral party. How come he took the recording in a surposed "unsafe environment" when he had the option of simply leaving the house.

Court case over what? No need politicizing this abeg. The guy is a human being like the rest of us and he has apologized. The bolt driver should sit down with the lawmaker and resolve the matter like men. No need allowing attention seeking activist like Deji Adeyanju to start using the case to seek public relevance.

Let deji seek public relevance with it. Rice people and politicians are always very arrogant and believe they are above the law.

If there were no cameras, this guy could have looked the boy in his garage or order his soldiers to take him to the barrack and torture the boy and nothing will happen.

I have seen several cases where rich men use their connection to deal with a poor man just to prove that he is richer and more connected. That is where the phrase "do you know who I am" came from

I am yet to see or hear of an apology to the driver. I saw a video of him apologizing to his colleagues in the HoR. That is not out of place since he disgraced them, but nowhere in that video was any reference made to the driver. Maybe I didn't see it well sha.

Okay.. I didn't see that as well. But it all boils down to the bolt driver now. Even if he end up apologizing to him. He can choose to press charge or not.
In my opinion, I think , he should press charge. There is too much of power show in this country....... Even right now, the bolt driver life could be at risk .

In some countries , he would have tender his resignation or send packing . Even if he apologize to the bolt driver.....

your argument is trash. Recording someone in his house is illegal and being allowed to walk away with such recording proves the reps member is not troublesome. It doesn't work that way. In law, it's not just about what happened but the cause. The bolt driver might end up getting into more trouble.

Bro, he had a lawful business in that house, so has the right to record for his safety. He didn't go there for the sole purpose of recording the Magician.

All these your defence and argument from page one to three, the dishonorable guy himself has already reached a settlement with the driver.
Perhaps, he seem wise enough not to allow, social. media SANs like you push him into gutter.

Read the rubbish you just wrote.

The Bolt driver made that video to exonerate himself first and foremost from any wrong doing.

That video is why the Bolt driver is not languishing in pre detention cell in a correctional center because the idiot albino had threatened to beat up, arrest and make the Bolt guy "disappear".

The albino made good 2 out of the 3 threats by physically assaulting and having the bolt guy arrested and you are here spewing trash defending this idiot .

They will not get anything out of the case. The so called bolt driver was already recording him before the assault began. Who records a man by pointing a phone to his face inside his own compound without permission?

Ofcourse there is also a provocation angle to it.

Did the driver go there uninvited? The (dis)honourable rep guy asked him to enter the compound and started harassing him. This case too clear. The only way out is for the driver to settle out of court and cash out.

With the way people have been disappearing while going to honour deliveries, one has to take extra precautions.

You'll also tell me it's illegal to copy the plate number of a vehicle I wish to board.

When someone suddenly goes missing, we start running around to find where they dropped evidence of their last known location or people they were with.

What's different here?

The idiot I quoted was one of the Ndi IPOB posters who was jumping around several threads created in defense of the albino blaming the bolt driver and justifying the assault .
