This data is exactly what dictates which states depend heavily on federal allocation to power their government. What it means that, if FAAC suddenly dry up today, most states will go bankrupt and they won’t even be able to function. For the oil producing states, they will actually earn more if FAAC dry up because they can control their resources. I will overlook oil producing states, but those states that are non oil producing and still depend almost 70% on FAAC are in for a shock if anything happens to our current structure. 5 Likes |

Imagine Anambra, the self acclaimed land of audio billionaire Infact, the FG should scrap SE into Kogi State, Akwa Ibom and Delta state because the region is dragging Nigeria backward. 4 Likes |

Ttalk: SE is all empty chest beating. Have you ever wondered why most of the well to do SE’ner live either in lagos or abroad? Those are the one giving false image of South East. Infact, SE is worse than South-South in most economic metrics. They are the NE of the South. Everytime in the face of real data, they always lag behind. SE’ners are the greatest beneficiary of one Nigeria. 2 Likes |

Which states does FAAC depends on to have money or are you implying that FAAC has sources of income? |
Re: Rankings Of States Based On Their Dependency On FAAC by Ttalk: 3:28pm On Oct 30 |
LegendHero: 2 states in SS will swallow the economy of the entire SE while Ogun State from SW will take on the entire SE, SE is on the same level with NE that is ravaged by insurgency. NE will definitely do better than SE as BH subsides and IPOB takes the centre state in SE 4 Likes |

Re: Rankings Of States Based On Their Dependency On FAAC by SpiritMoney: 3:32pm On Oct 30 |
Always looking for ways to bash a region that till date has the wealthiest people per capita in the south followed by the south south. In effect, when you break it down, the SW is indeed the North of the South. 😂 Na Lagos dey always skew data in favour of SW. 😂 |

madridguy: You need to apply more sense in your doings. SE is not complaining... We have abundant resources should anything happen. When Anambra gets 100% instead of 13% oil and gas resources they get from federal government which we feed, there will be no need of taxing anybody in Anambra state. Yes our big men build roads and not depend on govt or celebrate caterpillars with owambe in the villages 1 Like |
