The bible in 2 Peter 2:5-8 described Lot as just and righteous.

Noah also was described as just and righteous in genesis 6:9 and genesis 7:1.

Not only that, the compositions of both families were similar; Noah's family had eight members. For Noah, they were Noah, his wife, his three sons, and his three daughter-in-laws. For Lot, they were Lot, his wife, his four daughters and his two son-in-laws.

However, all the eight members of the family of Noah were saved while Lot lost five out of eight members of his family to destruction.

The cause of this difference is probably found in 2 Peter 2:5, Noah was A PREACHER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, in addition to being just and righteous like Lot.

that the word rapture is commonly used for "caught up" @ 1 thess 4:17

the word "rapture" comes from the word "rapiemur" in the latin Bible, which comes from "harpazo" in the greek scriptures,
so whether you like the word or not, the event is real


1Th 4:15  For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.
