They include, a bill for an act to alter the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Cap. C23 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 for the creation of Anioma State and for matters.

Anioma as the 7th state in the Southsouth zone is welcome.
Two equalising states in the southeast zone are necessary.

Only two of these bills are relevant. You can't legislate people into good values. Values are system issues.

Recreate the system and everything falls into place.

Serious Question:
Do we really need more states?

The problem of SE isn't political structure. It's political misappropriation. They have very visionless politicians with no motivation to build legacies.

If they clean the house, they'd become what the state of California is to the USA. They have ALL it takes save for the personnel. Even Geography favours them.

Seems you read my mind 💯
For the most part, I don’t even bother commenting on NL anymore because there’s so much hatred, frustration and anger here. And to top that off, so many immature people.
Why waste my time?!
Thank you for your wisdom.

Dpharisee:
He is not a bench warmer at the Senate, he is focused and out to touch the lives of his people.

Meanwhile Nairaland has become a depressing and boring website, virtually every story on Front Page is dominated by the same hoard of miscreants spewing extreme tribal hatred 24hrs, fresh ideas seems to be non existent as newcomers to this platform don't even know how to navigate the toxicity from the popular Monikers before contributing their own opinions.

Even the owner of this site seems to have given up after his warning against tribal slurs and abuses didn’t make much difference because he has failed in weeding out the troublesome Monikers that have made this place uninteresting unlike in the past when we come here to get life changing information

I really give it to him, because he's working, not like other sin-eaters who are only warming bench and waiting for tax payers money to enter into their account

Ned Nwoko should be very careful.
Any attempt to include anioma in the SE would be a mistake of great proportion, and Generations unborn will curse him.

The SE is currently being ravaged by chronic self-inflicted insecurity and underdevelopment, rooted in very complex ethnic politics.

Anioma does not need to be joined into that level of madness and complexity.

Do you think Any State Can be Created in Nigeria? NO!
If you want to see the reasons, you need to comes up with at least,10 SANs,to tell you a Big -Lacuna in the 1979- Constitution, unless, someone is deceiving you! e .g after the creation of the State,it must be sent to ALL the States in Nigeria ' where at least 2/3 Must Assent,to it, without any O bjections '
Is that Possible in Nigeria - even let Elon Musk- brings all his Money here,it will be rejected !

I am impressed by Nwoko.
This shows he worked for his success and not a bench warming thief.

Keep it coming Ned.
More needs to be done.
You must be going back to senate till you become the Senate president.

You hardly hear him spew nonsense like some others. Those are the kind of lawmakers we want to see.
