@ Poster: There's nothing wrong with "soakis" as long as: - he's not offering that on every single visit - It's summer and the weather is warm enough - there's peanuts to go with it  It may be a sign of poverty in Naija, but for me it's a delicacy so this would be sign of intimacy between us.
