Client Profile:
Our client is a leading investment banking firm focused on providing financial advisory, capital raising, and investment management services for private individuals, institutions, governments, and government agencies.

Job Title: Finance Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely remittance of PAYE, VAT, WHT, pension deductions, and NHF.
- Review and verification of posting transactions into accurate ledgers.
- Training of junior staff to enhance knowledge and skills while still providing guidance.
- Ability to independently prepare periodic reports and SEC-compliant financial statements.
- Coordination of year-end audit by submitting requested documents and liaising with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure timely conclusion in line with management objectives.

Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Accounting with a minimum of second class upper.
-5-8 years of financial reporting/control experience in a bank or reputable asset management firm.
- Practical knowledge of IFRSs with specific mastery of IFRS 9.
- Full membership of ICAN or ACCA.
- Excellent communication/report writing/probing skills.
- Ability to independently prepare periodic management reports and SEC-compliant financial statements.
- Verifiable experience of handling tax and statutory financial audits.
- Previous supervisory/team leadership experience is a plus.
- Big 4 experience is a plus.
