Banana Island

The banana-shaped Island is approximately 1,630,000 square metres in size (less than a square mile) and is divided into 536 plots (of between 1000 and 4000 square metres in size) mainly arranged along cul-de-sacs, so designed to enhance the historically residential nature of Ikoyi.
Residents are provided world class utilities including underground electrical systems (versus the overhead cabling common throughout Lagos), an underground water supply network, a central sewage system and treatment plant, and street lighting and satellite telecommunications networks.
The original Banana Island construction project entitled Lagoon City was the brainchild of the Late Chief Adebayo Adeleke, a University of London trained Civil Engineer (MICE), and CEO of City Property Development Ltd

Bonny Island

is situated at the southern edge of Rivers State in the Niger Delta of Nigeria near Port Harcourt. In the early 1990s the Federal Government of Nigeria, in collaboration with 3 international partners, Shell Gas BV., CLEAG Limited [ELF] and AGIP International BV. started the multi-billion dollar project Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas Limited (Nigeria LNG).

Due to its strategic position, the island hosts various oil companies including Royal Dutch Shell, Mobil, Chevron, Agip, and Elf.
Port Harcourt is the closest city to Bonny Island. Ferries are the main form of transport to and from the island.

Brass Island

is a town in the Niger Delta of Nigeria. It is known for the traditional costume of its inhabitants, heavily influenced by British colonialist’s Edwardian era outfits. Ferries link the town with Port Harcourt and Yenagoa.

Iddo Island

was an island opposite Lagos Island in Nigeria, but due to infill is now part of the mainland. Iddo Island is connected to Lagos Island by the Eko Bridge and the Carter Bridge.
Lagos was founded by the Bini in the sixteenth century on the site of an earlier Yoruba settlement, and was known as Eko. The rulers of Lagos since then have all descended from the Benin warrior Ashipa who was the first king of the town, although the aristocracy are Yoruba. Ashipa's son built his palace on Lagos Island, and his grandson moved the seat of government to the palace from Iddo island.

Ikoyi

The area that makes up Ikoyi was originally part of Lagos Island until it was separated from Lagos Island by a narrow waterway that was dug by the British colonial government. This canal has now been built over or filled so that the two islands are fused together again. It is shielded from the Atlantic Ocean by Victoria Island and the broad sand spit running east down the coast

Victoria Island (Iru) or popularly called VI

is an affluent town that encompasses a former island of the same name that sits between Lagos Island and the Lekki Peninsula in the Lagos Lagoon. It is the main business and financial centre of Lagos, Nigeria. Victoria Island is one of the most exclusive and expensive areas to live in Nigeria. The town and island lie within the boundaries of the Eti-Osa LGA.

Eko Atlantic.

Eko Atlantic city is a planned district of Lagos, Nigeria, being constructed on land reclaimed from the Atlantic Ocean.[1] Located on Lagos’ Bar Beach, the proposed development is anticipating upon completion 400,000 residents and 250,000 commuters flowing daily to the new island. The development will also have a positive environmental impact; its purpose is to stop the erosion of the Lagos coastline.

Where did you get that information from? The language I here Andoni people speak and the name they bear seem more like Efik mixed with Ogoni to me or even an entirely different language. There might have been a mix but I've never sensed anything Ijaw there. So do your research.

The Andoni people of Rivers State, of Nigeria, are considered to be an Ijaw tribe by some, a distinct ethnolinguistic group by others, and a people closely related to the Yoruba, Annang, Igbo, Ibibio and Efik people of Akwa Ibom State and Cross River State in Nigeria. Like these people, the Andoni people refer to God as Awaji or Owaji.

Historically, the Andoni (Idoni or Indo) Is the first son among the many sons of Ijo (Ujo) heir to the throne of Oduduwa (Adumu) of Ile-Ife before the colonial era and had commercial contacts with European traders and with neighboring Ijaw clans, such as the Bonny, Okrika, Kalabari, and Nkoro. The Andoni frequently fought wars with the Kingdom of Bonny. The Andoni people speak Obolo as the only native language. Obolo language is a combination of words from Igbo, Efik, Ibibio, Annang, Okrika, Ijaw, and Nembe.

There is a historical link between the Okrika and the Andoni people. The Andoni people are the fiercest warriors in the Niger Delta, they have fought many wars with the Ogonis yet they are the best of friends. The Andoni (Obolo) clan of Ijaw is very wide with Ohafia and Aro (Arochukwu) people in Igbo land, Eastern Obolo, Ibeno-Eket and Oron in Akwa Ibom states and Andoni, Kala-Ido and Ogoloma in Rivers State. The Andoni people are very cultural, among the key towns are Ngo (Gogo), Ebukuma, Ikuru (Ikwut), Ataba, Ekede, Agwut-Obolo, Okoromboko, Okoroete, Iko, (Eastern Obolo axis), Asarama, Unyeada, and Ilotombi. The Nwantam masquerade of Andoni celebrated every first January is one of the highlights of Obolo festivities, which they share with the Opobo, Nkoro, Bonny and Ndoki Ijaws. Their ancient practices includews a writing system known as nsibidi, ofiokpo cult and the war dance which both the Ohafia and Arochukwu clans still retain despite loss of original language. Some parts of the Andoni tribe can be reach by roads and all can be reached by sea. It is rich in Wildlife (Elephants, Monkeys, Species of Pythons, Tortoise etc. and Minreal resources. It is a growing tourist location in Rivers State

takwa bay island Lagos

Takwa bay beach which is one of the most popular tourist island in Lagos state to under go a short term and long development. The island is a tourist attraction for both local and international tourist, in recent time tourists have come to dread the beach because of security concern and lack of maintenance by the government.
