The penalty for homosexuality, as prescribed and passed into law in 2014, only succeeded in reducing the public display of the vile act, albeit for a while. Nothing really changed. Besides, has anyone been convicted of such in the country? The way things were going pre-2014, if not for that timely law, two men or two women would be kissing in publicly on the streets of Nigeria today.
