forgiveness:That's a big fat lie There's no such route There are two major routes to Abuja from Lagos One passes through Niger (A124) the other passes through Kogi (A2) None of the two is below 700km

According to him, the bullet train traveling at 250 km/hr, will cut Lagos-Abuja travel time from 10 hours by road to just 3 hours. The Super Highway will reduce travel time to 5 hours.” Guys honestly I can't wait for this project to become reality. We miss alot of quality and fantastic infrastructure other countries enjoy. Lagos to Abuja route is just like Istanbul to Ankara (Turkey) route, I took the road trip to the Nigeria Embassy and it was fantastic..very smooth road. Also train btw Istanbul and Ankara very fast. One really wish this quality infrastructure in Nigeria. 1 Like |

forgiveness:Abuja-Kaduna was done by Jonathan Itakpe-Warri was existing before. It was simply rehabilitated Only Lagos-Ibadan was done by Buhari You apc guys can lie for Africa That's how one clown was claiming that pdp did not do any infrastructure only apc did. |
Re: Lagos-Abuja Super Highway, High-speed Train to Flag-off before February 2025 by forgiveness: 2:16pm On Jan 09 |
Ojuntana: This is construction of a new route and not on existing route. Just like Lagos to Calabar super highway is a new route. Did you get it now? |
Re: Lagos-Abuja Super Highway, High-speed Train to Flag-off before February 2025 by Ojuntana: 2:18pm On Jan 09 |
forgiveness:Even as it's a new route. Check the map. There's no way it can be 500km. It's common sense you can see with your two eyes All the routes are over 700km. How will a new route( which I doubt) be 500km? Lagos Calabar route is still unknown till now. The route being bandied all over the Internet is an existing route |

Ojuntana: So, AEC Geofucus lied it is 500km, abi? Where you there when the feasibility study was done? Inside of you to admit your misunderstanding, you are still trying to prove unnecessary point. This is a new proposed route, mr man. See better map to understand it is not what you are thinking.

Ojuntana: Olodo, Itapke - Warri was abandoned by previous administrators for years before Buhari came and completed the project. Which lie? Show me? Can you claim Portharcourt - Aba railway is not functioning currently? ![]() |

forgiveness:Well, they lied if they claimed Lagos to Abuja is 500km Even your map is starting from Ilorin and the shortest I'm seeing there is 288miles which is over 460km. So can you explain which magic will make Lagos to Ilorin 40km? ![]() ![]() Which school did you attend? |
Re: Lagos-Abuja Super Highway, High-speed Train to Flag-off before February 2025 by Ojuntana: 2:46pm On Jan 09 |
forgiveness:Itakpe-Warri was abandoned because it's meant to be a service route for Ajaokuta steel and Itakpe ore. It's not supposed to be a transit route. It was a complete route. A lot of you are ignorant. It was abandoned because the steel mill was not working. Buhari simply rehabilitated it for passenger use and what has the utilisation been like since then? Port Harcourt- Aba on the narrow gauge has been functioning since the time of Jonathan. |
Re: Lagos-Abuja Super Highway, High-speed Train to Flag-off before February 2025 by forgiveness: 3:47pm On Jan 09 |
Ojuntana: Why didn't the previous administration lack the innovation to convert ir to a passenger train service? Is it not because they lack the foresight and initiative? Who told you it was rehabilitated and not constructed from where it stopped? Are you saying, the railway stations, train wagons etc were just rehabilitated and not built or bought newly? Go to that corridor and see how farmers are using it to transport their goods. It's the safest and cheapest way to Abuja from SS. You can keep deceiving yourself. |
Re: Lagos-Abuja Super Highway, High-speed Train to Flag-off before February 2025 by Ojuntana: 4:00pm On Jan 09 |
forgiveness:Lol. What is the utilisation? Just in December the route was suspended and it is not yet back. The tracks were fully constructed already Mr Man It was the stations, coaches that were brought in with the tracks rehabilitated. Which farmers are using it to transport goods? Lie will not kill you guys |

Ojuntana: Do you mean Itakpe- Warri railway is not under utilisation? Stop diverting. Since the stations, coaches etc were done by Buhari, EOD. It is not in existence for 30 years but one person brought the initiative and developed the train system. |

forgiveness:The school you attend taught you that Lagos to ILORIN is 40km ![]() ![]() Is Google map also nairaland jobber? It is only someone who has never transited that route that will believe that Lagos to Abuja can be 500km when Lagos to Ibadan alone is over 100km ![]() ![]() |
Re: Lagos-Abuja Super Highway, High-speed Train to Flag-off before February 2025 by Ojuntana: 4:20pm On Jan 09 |
forgiveness:It is presently not working. There's no initiative. It is just white elephant. Trains are supposed to connect major cities. Have you ever heard of Itakpe before the train was brought up? What is the traffic like between Warri and Itakpe before now? |
Re: Lagos-Abuja Super Highway, High-speed Train to Flag-off before February 2025 by forgiveness: 4:38pm On Jan 09 |
Ojuntana: Due to minor maintenance. Point still remains it was built to function by Buhari administration. EOD. Go and tell Warri boys it is a white elephants project. That is the safest and cheapest route to Abuja. Do you Mean, Warri is not a major city? I have used that train before to Warri and to Yenagoa due to fear of being kidnapped along the road. That train is the best thing to happen in that area. Besides, it will be extended to Abuja. Mr man, I don hear am before you were born and I have used that train service before. |

Re: Lagos-Abuja Super Highway, High-speed Train to Flag-off before February 2025 by Ojuntana: 4:56pm On Jan 09 |
forgiveness:Oga, there's no way Lagos to Abuja can be 500km. This is common sense. There's something called as bird flies in secondary school geography which means a straight line. A straight line from Abuja to Lagos is more than 500km. Are you now claiming now that the new route will start from Lagos separately and be a straight line to Abuja? ![]() ![]() How's that possible? Even that won't give you 500km and that's the shortest possible route. Basic geographical concept ![]() ![]() Note that in all these, we're leaving out the claim that the road will pass through Niger and Kogi states which is not possible via a straight line |

Ojuntana: Oga! You are not a surveyor. Just a babbler. So, company wey use money do feasibility studies are dumb, abi? They will bring 16b dollars to invest without any study. Comot for my front. Olodo. Google show you new route. ![]() |

If any credit is to be given it should be to the Buhari administration and not the ex drug dealer's. There's no way he could have built that rail line in less than 2 years |
Re: Lagos-Abuja Super Highway, High-speed Train to Flag-off before February 2025 by Ojuntana: 5:52pm On Jan 09 |
forgiveness:There's no new route by road. Learn to read and comprehend That's the distance as bird flies as it is called in geography And it is impossible for a road to be built as bird flies Especially from Lagos to Abuja It is science that says so ![]() ![]() |
