Kellyrae, the winner of BBNaija Season 9, talked about some of his personal hardships with his wife, Kassia.
He revealed that he had lost all of his money to gambling before to appearing on the reality show, which sent him into a deep state of despair and tremendous remorse.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the reality TV star said that his wife supported him through his darkest times and gave him constant encouragement, which gave him strength and hope again.

However, he said that his incapacity to support her sufficiently made him think about ending their relationship.

“I had some money, but it wasn’t enough because I wanted more,” he claimed. “I started gambling with it and lost it all.”

I felt down. Every night I woke up and thought. She was the one who saved me after that.


One day, I called her and suggested that we end the relationship. Since I frequently feel bad about things I should be doing, I don’t think I have what it takes to truly care about you.

He also talked about his time in the BBNaija home, acknowledging that he stayed loyal to himself during the show while keeping his marriage a secret.

“Difficulties will still arise even if you spend the rest of your life lying in bed. The hassle that comes with having ₦60 million is probably what I prefer. That was the only thing I had to pretend. I was just being myself,” he added.
