There are several circumstances that could make a man poor despite being holy or filled with the spirit of God.

I didn't see poverty or poor mentioned in the bible verse that you quoted.

One can be rich and eat in sorrow. Curse doesn't necessarily mean poverty.

When you are preaching or referring to the word of God, you need to prove that God said so, not your interpretation or assumptions.
