Why is no one looking at Obasa's woes as the doing of Femi Gbajabiamila, the President's Chief of staff?
To me, Seyi Tinubu is just a distraction for the main Sanwo-Olu successor, Femi Gbajabiamila.

In nigeria politics nothing is beyond inclussion and relevance in the scheme of things, this is why core loyalty is required especially if you are a "career" politician in LAGOS...

HE would be removed from GAC, wont win any election in LAGOS again at least for now and will be left out in all the scheme of things....means his primary source of income which is politics is locked...

You can see AMbode trying hard to regain his footing all thanks to Sanwo Olu who let go of the lunatic tagging by AMABODE...

Who knows Pedro again.. he cant even win his ward... he was recently allowed to enjoy GAC privileges recently, ask from bIS Sosan and Orelope...

if he loves himself, he should accept his fate without any further attack.

He is not an upright politician so he cant win any battle...

Obasa just ended his political career abruptly.
Abruptly after 24yrs? Like seriously?

We are waiting for Efcc to jump in and do their job, but I can assure you that nothing of such would happen because if it does, heads would roll.

What about Obanikoro and sons?
Enough dobale is all he needs but he has chopped enough and should go and enjoy his loot.
ok, we have heard, he has even over stayed in the House. By 2027, he would have spend 24 years in the Assembly. He need to rest, he is not the only one from Agege.

Impeached as a speaker but not as a member of the house of assembly.
He is still a member of the house of assembly representing Agege.

I don't even care if the move was for Seyi Tinubu, Obasa has overstayed in that position for almost 10 years and has been a very useless representative to Agege community. The only thing he knows how to do best is share nonsense palliative during elections.
So how has he been winning elections

He overated itself. How can you talk rudely to your state governor. By 2027 he would have been a assembly member for straight 24 years. Let another politician also rise from agege.

The Southwest has produced the worst form of politics to the Nigerian system and that's one major reason the country is where it is today, thanks to Tinubu...

That's why some of them think it will work in Rivers state, Sorry Obasa you were just in the wrong region for your action, not that you are a good person either
Stop being sentimental. Is it not SW you were raised? If your SE has a better political terrain, do you think your people will be rushing here?

Indications that trouble might be lurking in the corner for Obasa started to manifest when some of the leaders of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), met with President Bola Tinubu in December last year and upbraided the speaker for alleged insubordination to the authorities in the state.

What is GAC?

Unconstitutional bodies exercising rights over constitutional bodies.

Met with the President, not even the sitting Governor.

Na the seniors for their imule be that. Na. From that setting dem dey fix themselves for political office.

So that one supersede . Na dem dey give you power na dem dey collect am.

I know, what I was trying to say is that he was one of the luckiest politicians from Lagos State. To be in Assembly for 6 straight terms and as a speaker for 9 years. He is the longest member of LSHA and Longest speaker in the history of the Assembly and in Nigeria at large.

Nope, he is believed to be on the side of Gbaja, that's why Gbaja also said there won't be election at lcda level before the state APC chairman disproved the statement.
It's rumoured that they both owned Bokku
I seriously doubt they are on same page, however, let's keep watching as things unfold.

Hakeem Muri-Okunola & Femi Gbajabiamila are names to watch out for in 2027 Governorship election of Lagos state.

Femi is seriously scheming for the coveted office in Alausa, 2031 VP position looks like a far reach for him.
