A lot of gospel preachers in Nigeria have been swayed by the desire to keep their members and as such watered down the gospel or deviated into populous prosperity messages.
But not pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry aka Deeper Life Bible Church.
Over the course of 50 years, pastor Kumuyi has remained resolute and uncompromising on the core biblical teaching of salvation from sin through faith in Christ, restitution, sanctification, holiness and heaven despite losing a lot of members especially the younger generation.
Who would have thought that Kumuyi's integrity would be recognized by Christians in far away United States of America.
It really pays to stand on one's conviction.
