SmooshCHN:na the guy wey they go Jehovah witness be this ?
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 12:52am On Feb 10
donlittle25:Yeah. First he said he was only interested in joining the Lakers or Clippers like he was the third coming of Jesus and now he changed his mind.
Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 1:13am On Feb 10
False alarm, did anybody moved pieces on their teams because of him?
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 1:31am On Feb 10
I love Galo but I think I am more excited about SGA. That kid can become something scary especially if CP3 stays. He has made a big jump this season on both ends of the court.
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 10:58am On Feb 10
donlittle25:But the Lakers fan base were prepared for his coming. Must suck for Lakers fans who think they'll get everyone.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 1:13pm On Feb 10
It's funny how some Lakers fans saw Collison as the saviour, as someone who would really push the Lakers in the championship race. Lol. If you asked me to choose between Rondo and Collison I'd take Rondo any day. He's by far the second best playmaker on our team.
And I really don't know what's happening with Bradley but the guy has been shooting better in the last couple of games. His 3 ball in the last 6 games look like this: 1-2, 2-3, 5-9, 2-5, 3-4, 5-7. That's after going 0-9 in the previous 4 games. Long may it continue.
Re: The NBA Begins by xwolverine: 3:39pm On Feb 10
To be really honest, I still think we could've used Collison at this time, he's that good. In fact, any PG is a welcome option at this point in time, that's how awful Rondo has been since the beginning of the season. His mediocre performance is impacting on the bench as well, especially Kuz.
Kuzma is struggling because he's playing more minutes with Rondo and by the time he plays with the first unit, he's not in rhythm and exhausted.
Collison was the answer to the lack of creativity when Lebron is not on the court, which will be badly needed in a typical 7 game series.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 4:06pm On Feb 10
LeBron is the best playmaker in the league. Perhaps asking Rondo to replicate that level of creativity is a little harsh. Rondo will always be Rondo.
And we can't really say he has hindered Kuzma so far. Kuzma can create his own shot. He's a pretty reliable ball handler, so if Rondo ain't passing then go get your own shot.
And let's be honest, Collison has never been a prolific playmaker. Stats tell me he's on 5 assists/game for his career, compared to Rondo's 8.3. Rondo might be having a bad spell, but we know the guy can create.
Re: The NBA Begins by xwolverine: 8:58pm On Feb 10
Rondo can create, but he holds on to the ball for too long in transition, that by the time he makes a pass, the defence is already set. In comparison, Collison is a better shooter, won’t mind his lower number of assists per game, heck I’ll take Lance Stephenson at this rate. Anyone is better than Rondo at this point and I am being honest here.
There’s no point for us to whine about it now though, all I’m saying is that he would’ve been a good pick up.

Add 3-4 for Bradley in today's game

Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 5:36pm On Feb 11
I legit hate Rob Parker. Once he opens his mouth to talk about the Lakers it's all hate and bullshit.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 6:04am On Feb 12
18 TO with 2 mins left is not a recipe for a W. We did not play Celtics basketball, failed to move the ball and got punished by a Rockets team who defended better.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:44am On Feb 12
Roland17:You guys did what they wanted, play the small ball. Kanter got an unusual 9 minutes.
Re: The NBA Begins by xwolverine: 11:02am On Feb 12
I like the new host on undisputed though, he's very good at making Rob look silly.
On a side note, did anyone see the Philly game last night? Playoff P showed up big time with 3FGM in 15FGA, plus I am beginning to believe that not getting Mook could turn out to be a blessing in disguise for the Lakers.
Tell me I’m dreaming, but did I just watch Zion dominate Whiteside in the paint
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:56pm On Feb 12
Happy Birthday to Bill Russell. A GOAT in his own right.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 5:39pm On Feb 12
xwolverine:I didn't see the game, but I'm believing that that Mook-PG-Kawhi partnership is bullocks unless Mook comes of the bench. I mean, bringing Morris into the starting lineup pushes PG into the SG position, making him to take (and miss) even more three pointers. They need to sort themselves out...the later the better for us.
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 10:26pm On Feb 12
Aliondo.. How far? Did you watch this game live?
And the playoff series with OKC up 3-1 that season?
2016 was a crazy year.
Re: The NBA Begins by DeeMain(m): 10:40pm On Feb 12
Are we not judging these things too soon? There's time to fix the pieces for any serious playoff contender.
Time will tell.
Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 11:58pm On Feb 12
I know you too well...You just one taunt me sha but I will get my revenge when we meet in the playoffs this year.. If you know, you know..
Re: The NBA Begins by DeeMain(m): 2:44am On Feb 13
Why Westbrook will be the 4th quarter final seconds go-to player for a team that has KD on it beats me. KD stomached a lot of shit in OKC. What disrespect! Nonsense.
Steph baba! Respect!
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 3:55am On Feb 13
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 3:57am On Feb 13
DeeMain:You people disrespect Westbrook too much in this group.
Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 4:37am On Feb 13
steady986:it's the truth tho. I love Westbrook, but oon a team with KD, he should never be the closer. Never
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:08am On Feb 13
Nice reassuring win for the Lakers over the Nuggets. Denver is always a tough place to go to.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:15am On Feb 13
donlittle25:That's a two time scoring champion you're underestimating. Russ closes sometimes, KD closes sometimes. They're both elite players.
Re: The NBA Begins by lordbeans(m): 8:07am On Feb 13
As against a four times scoring champion in Kevin Durant , who by the way has significantly higher field goal percentages in both two points and 3 points and a significantly better free throw shooter. Tell me why anyone who has a functioning head on his or her shoulders would prefer Westbrook closing than Durant?. It is incomprehensibly inane.
Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 8:52am On Feb 13
The guys at OKC do not have a functioning brain on their head
Re: The NBA Begins by DeeMain(m): 9:36am On Feb 13
Guy, watch that video again. He is a very good player, loyal and gives his all with intensity but...
If OKC wins this game it's game over in the series. Final seconds, game is tied and twice you have a chance to win or tie the game and twice Westbrook is given the responsibility and he bricks. Meanwhile you have a cold blooded assassin, the second best player in the league in the person of KD in your team.
To me that's hogwash.
OKC should have been KD's team and Westbrook his 2nd. It should have been made clear. Management got it wrong.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:24am On Feb 13
lordbeans:No one here says he prefers one to the other. I said they both have earned the right to close.
