In a display of unity and solidarity, leaders of the Tijjaniyya Islamic sect visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The visit, which was part of a broader diplomatic and spiritual engagement, culminated in a joint observance of the Jumu'at (Friday prayers) at the State House Mosque.

The delegation, led by prominent Tijjaniyya scholars and spiritual leaders, was warmly received by President Tinubu, who expressed appreciation for the group’s role in promoting peace and unity within Nigeria and beyond.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss matters related to national security, religious harmony, and the development of the country’s spiritual institutions.

After the closed-door discussions, the leaders of the Tijjaniyya and the President proceeded to the State House Mosque, where they observed the Jumu'at prayers together.

The gathering marked a significant moment in the ongoing efforts to foster interfaith dialogue and strengthen relationships between the Nigerian government and key religious groups.

Speaking after the prayers, one of the Tijjaniyya leaders, Sheikh Ibrahim, emphasized the importance of cooperation between the government and religious communities for the advancement of peace and prosperity.

“Our visit to President Tinubu is a testament to the need for unity, especially at a time when the country is facing numerous challenges,” he said.

President Tinubu also addressed the gathering, highlighting his administration’s commitment to ensuring that the rights and freedoms of all religious groups are respected, while also encouraging Nigerians to work together for a peaceful and prosperous future.

Khalifa Inyass told reporters after the prayers that the delegation, mainly from Senegal, was in Nigeria as part of the Tijjaniyya movement’s annual Inyass Maulud celebration.

He assured President Tinubu of the support and prayers of the Muslim Ummah, particularly the over 400 million followers across Nigeria, West Africa and beyond.

Mahi described President Tinubu as a patriotic and compassionate leader, who is always concerned about the well being of all Nigerians and the progress of the nation.

“Every year I visit Nigeria from Senegal to pray for peace, stability and development of Nigeria, and over the last few days I visited Bauchi State and others parts of the country.

“I’m very pleased with the warm reception accorded us by the President. We observed Jumma’at prayer together and that goes to show how President Tinubu is concerned about Nigeria and its people.

“May the Almighty Allah make Nigeria to stabilise economically, bring back peace in all areas affected by the insecurity,” the cleric prayed.

Nigeria needs a revolution!!!!!

I have this conviction since 2012.

Serious nations are prioritizing food security, technological advancement, economic growth, 4th industrial revolution but our leaders are scheming how to use religion to brainwash people for votes by implementing a deadly archaic religious instrument for the poor used with castrophic results in the Northern region in another region.

IPOB retards are always projecting their worthless shameless lives on others. The same IPOB terrorist cannibal monkeys calling others terrorists is a joke of the century.
The same Neanderthal cannibalistic animals are also known to call others drug barons when the whole world knows that their blodas are the king of the drug trade. Every family in the Beerfraud jungle has a family member in prison somewhere in the world for selling drugs yet they are quick to call others drug barons.

Hypocrisy and projection are prevalent in the Sad East.
Sad and pathetic.

Christianity got no balls in this country called Nigeria....

Christianity in Nigeria is best design for holding crusades.. collecting tithes ,offering... soul winning and displaying miracles ...

Muslims believed they control the aims of Nigerian constitution..
