President Bola Tinubu has issued marching orders to the military to end banditry and general insecurity by the end of 2025.

This was disclosed by the Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru, in a viral video.

Following Tinubu’s order, Badaru said the military will continue its onslaught against bandits and all forms of criminalities.

The Minister said bandits are currently on the run and that the military won’t stop until they are all flushed out.

According to Badaru: “The bandits are now on the run, but the military will not rest until we end this thing. The president has given us marching orders to end insecurity in every part of our country by the end of this year.

The Chief of Defence Staff, NSA are working day and night to actualize that target, as you have seen we are putting pressure on all the theatre operations.

And indeed, mining activities have been lifted in Zamfara already and this is part of the reason we are meeting today to look at all areas where we have serious security issues and how best we can secure those areas.

Same script with Buhari, no changes at all. Is it that they are not taking the orders of their commander in chief or they're just incompetent and can't end insurgency in Nigeria.

Give them the orders
let the heads knows the consequences if they fail (mass sack and retirement)
give them everything they require to get it done.
if they ask for 1 year to get it done divide it by 2.... grin

Great! But let’s be clear, the goal is to end insecurity, not Nigeria itself. We've heard big promises before, yet bandits are still roaming free.

Lip service, a community in Ebonyi state has just been ransacked, no one is saying anything, not even the governor.

People who trivialize incidents like these have never had the experience of being chased out of your homeland by armed criminals.

Very true, by 2027 many of these communities will be fully occupied by bandits, history will forget the original inhabitants. Survivors will be forced to live in exile for the rest of their lives all because of selfish leaders.

11 months!

Imagine how many lives can be destroyed before that time.

The funny thing is, an all-out offensive can stamp out banditry in a fraction of that time.

Issue stop-and-search order with summary execution for those caught carrying arms or ammo and see them disappear.

Agberoism is more like an employment scheme that has kept the southwest from criminal activities like the Hausa/Fulani and the igbos. How else do you think your brothers in Lagos who’s bosses couldn’t settle but rather accused of stealing after learning a trade for 8 years? They got themselves employed by driving public buses in Lagos and being conductors. Agberoism has kept the southwest from having a terrorist group like igbos and Fulanis.

Maybe Bandits but not ISIS backed ISWAP. Even the US cannot completely get rid of ISIS after how many years. The Lake-Chad basin is for ISWAP, you can govern the rest of Nigeria.

ISWAP killed tens of Nigerian soldiers in Malam Fatori and you didn’t say anything about it.

Nigerians deserve you as their president, if they will not wake the fvck up. Fake ass President, stoopid ass President

Tinubu is no different from Bubu!
There is always a marching order but when they fail,U still reward them with more years just like Buhari and you wonder why Buhari's promise of ending insurgency in 6 months wasn't achieved despite all the humongous funds used to fight bokoharam!
At the end,if they fail to achieve their target, apc minions will go to the media and either blame Buhari or GEJ and PDP😂😂
But the annoying part of it is making comparisons....U will hear rhetorics like...'bokoharam have been technically defeat and only resorting to soft targets' or 'insecurity has significantly reduced in Abuja' or Reno omomumu will say 'U cannot totally take away insecurity as US still witness insecurity'

What you don't know was that in the offensive attack, Military also cleared bout 70 of em terrorist

If there's anything I can vouch for under Tinibu's government, it's his seriousness bout ending insecurity
