Don't give up.
Life balance, na how you take stand na im matter.
Am not that age, but I remember being 19 and then looking back some years later in my 20s, and wondering why I thought I was at my highest growth in life, then; Same thing when i got in to my thirties. Now am in my late 30s, and it's the same thing. So, I will advice you not to overthink it, just do your best daily, take care of yourself, and be hopeful.

Be happy with yourself. Life in itself is meaningless. Nothing last forever. There's nothing we will go with. Everything is new everyday. We just don't understand it. Acknowledge that it's late. But don't let it weigh you down. Nothing is meaningful in life. Humans just kill ourselves over nothing. Absolutely nothing. I dont quite agree with you. It all depends on if he can get the energy to start fighting from now going forward. going forward, he needs to play by his own standar and be realistic as u mentioned. If I were him(and I dont really have skills), I would beg for funds and consider small scale agriculture and be diligent and see what I can make out of that in 3 to 4 years. When I become financially stable a little bit, I would consider adopting an intelligent orphan that was abandoned. He can still create happiness around him. His focus should be on getting some financial stability, not when to have his own biological kids. He can still have his own kids, but his focus should be on having some financial capacity to make the child of a hopeless child beautiful, he stands a good chance of reaping. If luckily all goes well for him starting from now and at 50, he starts raising a child that is around 10......with prayers, support and God's grace, he can find himself joy and absolute fulfillment again. Depending on how things pan out, he can also try to have his own biological kid down the road. |

At 46 you can always achieve your set goals in life if you work at it.
But first,
Understand that as human beings we are embrayonic in nature. meaning, we can redevelop and improve ourselves again and again when we passionately WORK TOWARDS our goals.
And when you adhere to these 3 hardline principles that have proven to rule the world in the last 200 years:
1. Vision, - Purpose/goals in 5, 10, 20 years time 2. Discipline : Your Ability to get the work done.(Work & exercise: at 46 you need exercise : weight lifting, pushups etc ) 3. Passion: The Burning fire inside you to succeed. /The unseen hand of major success.
These principles are visible in all real success. work at it.

As long as you are alive, yes!
Let me hit you with some real stories of people who started late and still crushed it.
1. Colonel Sanders - The Chicken King
You’ve heard of KFC, right? Well, Harland Sanders didn’t start frying up that finger-lickin' chicken until he was in his 60s. Before that? He was a failed salesman, a gas station owner, and had about a dozen other gigs that didn’t pan out. At 65, with his recipe and a whole lot of determination, he started franchising his chicken business. Today, KFC is a global phenomenon. Imagine if he’d thought he was too old to try.
2. Vera Wang - The Fashion Icon
You see her name on luxury wedding gowns, but Vera Wang didn’t design her first dress until she was 40. Before that, she was a figure skater and then an editor at Vogue. She thought she’d missed her shot in fashion design, but clearly, she hadn’t. Today, she’s one of the most respected designers in the world. It wasn’t about her age; it was about her passion.
3. Samuel L. Jackson - Hollywood's Coolest
Samuel L. Jackson didn’t get his big break until he was 46 when he starred in Pulp Fiction. Before that, he was doing small roles, battling addiction, and trying to find his way. Now? He’s one of the highest-grossing actors of all time. Age didn’t hold him back. His persistence pushed him forward.
4. Ray Kroc - The Man Behind McDonald's
Ray Kroc was a milkshake machine salesman well into his 50s when he stumbled upon a little burger joint run by the McDonald brothers. He saw potential, bought them out, and turned McDonald's into the fast-food empire we know today. He was over 50 when he started! He literally built a billion-dollar brand while most people were thinking about retirement.
5. Laura Ingalls Wilder - The Pioneer Author
You know Little House on the Prairie? Laura Ingalls Wilder didn’t publish her first book until she was 65. Yep, 65! She spent years working on a farm, raising a family, and living the pioneer life before she decided to write about it. Her stories became timeless classics, beloved by generations.
So, is it okay to start life at 46? Heck yes, it is. Your age isn't a roadblock; it's a badge of experience. Life doesn't hand out deadlines for dreams. You set your own timeline.
In this life, some people can run, some can walk while others can only crawl, It does not matter whether you run, walk or crawl, My philosophy is to constantly on the move from one point to the other no matter how little.

So what do you propose? Since a proposition about learning a skill seems unreasonable. Propose something to him. Some people make it seem like there is a short cut to success.it is said that if education is expensive try ignorance. No one who invests in a skill does so because they had the money stashed up. How much is skill acquisition that you figure is too expensive to invest in? Even if he can’t start the crypto or data science as proposed, there are other skills that he could start with. As little as learning video editing or even graphics design very well can make all the difference. I don’t think it would require breaking a bank to learn these skills. Buhari, this riff raff never achieved anything in his life, he had just 10 barren cows until at 80 he became Nigeria presidiot, although he wrecked Nigeria. Tinibu. This was a criminal fugitive who ran away from America for drug related crimes, he has no traceable records, today, at 90, he is the president of Nigeria, although, he is fast turning Nigeria to a refugee camp.. 😆 don't take it too serious |

But nobody give me sense to retract my steps. I know so many guys that supported APC government during Buhari and some still support this Tinubu government but their eyes don open, they have make a U-turn ASAP. Apart from the situation of the country, did you know what they might have seen to have a change of mind? And these are yoruba guys. You're like my uncle/elder bro and i won't lie to you. Unless APC government gave you a contract or job at the federal/state level, then I'd understand you're supporting those who has helped your life. Some of these people supporting Tinubu and other APC government are getting benefit o. I can mention some of them if you wish to know. It is not patriotism kankan o. One of my course mate is like you, always supporting APC government on twitter. He told me it was because they gave him government job in his state that's why he's supporting them but deep down he knows the government has destroyed Nigeria and do not deserve to be in power. Bro, at this your age you cannot be doing all these supporting APC government without benefiting nothing or having a stake. Don't do this out of tribalism please.
